Sent it back cause it had fine hair line cracks in the handle. And order another right away. Grate AX .I would tell any one to buy one.

this throwing axe is an absolute gem. This axe is well balanced and easy to throw. Works very well for beginners to pros. The curved blade edge will inspire confidence in beginners as it sticks much easier than the flat edge blades.

I started axe throwing 2 years ago and the first axe I purchased was the Corporal. I loved the Corporal but it was also the only axe I used once I purchased it. One of the guys at the axe venue suggested a flying fox for me so I bought one and he customized it for me. The flying fox end result was very similar to the Corporal. During last league my throwing started to decrease and my scores reduced by a little. When this Ace of Spades went on sale I took the chance and I am so glad. I love this axe and I love throwing with this axe. My scores have increased slightly and so I am sold that this is the axe for me. I shared my whole story because as long as I have been throwing I have seen what a difference each axe can make for some people. I suggest you try throwing with a few different axes before making a purchase because it is so hard to tell what axe is best for each person. Happy throwing!

Very well made and great to throw......but I went back to my Butcher because I cant seem to quit her. Lol

I've tried the Jack, Queen, and Butcher axes and really like this one. Seems very well balanced.

As a new ax thrower, I would never have kept up with the sport – hobby if I had started out with a cheap back

I have been throwing for a few months now, and was excited to get this axe. It came with a crack in the handle, gook all over the head, and the metal wedges were very off center. I was willing to live with the wedges, and clean the gook. But the handle would have broken quickly if I threw it with that crack. Liked the head, likes the Finnish on the handle, and liked how it was sharpened. I returned and ordered a new one. Hope the next one is in better shape. I expect more from an axe at this price point.

This is a great throwing axe and I highly recommend it.

One throw and the head was loose on the handle…… very disapointed with this purchase.
