Great budget cooktop. Mine went in a mobile home remodel. I would not put it in a nice house. It can sit on top the counter or be installed. Installation was easy. A template was included. There was no easy way to clip it down to the counter, but it sets fine. Just plug in the electric ignition if you want. The gas hose hooks up very simply without any tools to a standard portable propane tank.

This stovetop looked great in my van conversion. But there the love ended. The burners didn’t heat up nearly as well as the original. After a year I reinstalled the old one. Would be fine for a patio kitchen.

Ordered the first one and it was not machined right, was missing a hole on one burner for the igniter deal. Got a replacement no problem which was great. I finally installed it and used it for about two weeks. The last time I used it it randomly "poofed" out extra propane twice on both burners and one caught fire! It was scary! I previously has a different brand 30" propane cooktop and it worked great for years.

Connected stove to a 1 pound disposable propane bottle. Connection was a little tricky as the threads on the stove seem to be metric and all propane gas connections in Canada are imperial. If you use the connection provided on the stove you need to purchase a propane hose that has an ID of 1/2" , cut the connection then drill it out a little to fit their connection to stove. Placed a crimp ring on it to secure. Soaped it all up to make sure there were no leaks. Worked great after that. Do not need power, just used a match to light stove. Would purchase again.

This item is not easy to install, you need to buy a gas hose, then a special connector in order to connect and work properly, fortunately my bro is a mechanical engineer and able to find the parts in a specialty store.

I received the stove packed in two boxes, upon opening the box ,I saw a small piece rolling around in the box, which I identified as a ceramic ignitor, This stove will not work without it, tried to return it but amazon says "not eligible, see terms", but I don't see any reason why its being denied, so $150 gone ,a stove I cant use, and amazon says "no returns" WOW!! BUYER BEWARE

This is a d grade finish product. It is not perfect. It is acceptable for a cottage or rv if you do want to save on price and get an acceptance appearance. Not to be installef in a new or luxurious home.
