Good Night Pittsburgh (Good Night Our World) Board book – Illustrated, September 26, 2012

I am from Pittsburgh but have relocated to the south. I love that I am going to be able to share the special Pittsburgh places and things with my grand baby!

This is a great book. My kids love it, but I think my wife and I love it even more. We have started buying for everyone from the Pittsburgh area that has a baby. We have moved away from the city and love using this to talk to our little kids about Pittsburgh. It's a fun tour through some of the sight me of the city, but at a very simple level just to talk about what things there are to do. One small issue, the book makes mention of 2/3 of the city's professional sports teams, but leaves out the Pirates. I guess they only want the kids to know about the winners...ha.

This is a great book, covers all the major attractions of Pittsburgh. I highly recommend the book, read it to your little ones and then take them to see those places mentioned in the book

This is my go to baby shower gift being from the Pittsburgh area! It's unique and the recipients are always excited to read it themselves. It has nice illustrations and includes many landmarks of Pittsburgh. My daughter has had the book for a few years and I like to read it either right before or right after going to one of the landmarks so we can share our memories.

We received the Good Night Vermont book as a gift from a friend who lives there. I thought it was cute and started looking up other versions. I live in Pittsburgh and found that there was a version coming out soon. I bought it as soon as it did and I fell in love! I've since bought more as gifts because they are adorable. We also have the North Carolina version. This is a great board book for little ones and has great nostalgia for the areas it covers. I highly recommend...and I will be buying more!

Cute gift for kids whose parents will connect the book to real life settings. Otherwise the references to PGH attractions would be over their little heads long past out growing board books.
