I bought these at my favorite local salvage that carries wonderful international foods but you have to jump quick. These were there on my last visit. They are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. Tin has 2 herrings. One was plenty for a snack. Perfect for portable meal.

Growing up in the world of seafood I find this the best Smoked herring fillets I have ever found in a can.The smoke is just right, the texture wonderful, and all around a great product.

The best of Alsterstor's herring products!
Although higher in sodium than our other herring favorite, Crown Prince Natural Wild Caught Kipper Snacks, these have a delicate flavor that's not masked by the seasonings Alsterstor uses in their other tinned herring offerings.

The Best!
If you like canned herring, these are tops! This product used to be carried by my local Joe the Trader, but they discontinued it. One can of this fish and a little fresh veg or cheese makes a solid and healthy lunch that packs easily.
