I don't have the book in front of me as I write, and the option to look inside gives no inkling of the beauty within its pages. When I opened this book, I gasped with wonder and delight! It is one of the most beautiful children's book I have seen!! The colours are magnificent, but the pop-ups are out of this world! For example, the final pop-up is a tree with individual items hanging from the branches. I had bought two for my 5- and 4-year old granddaughters, but their mothers decided they could be looked only when mummy was holding the book!! It is a book that is almost too beautiful for kids to handle!!!Jeannie Pollard

My daughter had these pop up books as a child, and now I am ordering them for my nieces and nephews. They are interactive, some make noise, and the kids love them. Many more "bug" books by this author to choose from.

Bought this for two, one for a five year old and one for a four year old. They both love the bug series and they were both laughing with glee. It got passed around our family Christmas party and got thumbs up from all sixty two of us! It is very colorful, clever and the popups are study enough for the careful child. I will buy more to have on hand for Christmas gifts for my friend's grandchildren.

David Carter continues to amaze and amuse the young reader. I have purchased a number of his bug books for my grandson, and he loves them! They travel back and forth from my home to my grandson's home and usually those books are the first things he asks for when I visit, other than a hug from Grandma!

I love getting pop up books for my nieces and nephews and the pop up bugs are simply the best! 12 days of bugs was hilarious and so creative. I was singing the song 12 days of Christmas but substituting the rhyme on each page! I was looking forward to seeing what the next page would do and was never disappointed.

David Carter sabe emocionarte con la simplez de su tecnica, el colorido y los movimientos son muy atractivos. Los niños lo disfrutan mucho en estas fiestas, quizas tanto como yo que miro el trabajo detras del trabajo. Un hurra para David!!

acquistato per avvicinare la mia bambina di 3 anni alla lingua inglese, non c'è storia ma solo un elenco di 12 desideri di una formica , di cose che vorrebbe per natale. il libro però è molto colorato e bello e i pop up sono fantastici.consigliato .ps. ho acquistato anche nursery rhymés quello è veramente strepitoso!comunque entrambi i libri hanno dei bellissimi pop up.

C'est mignon comme petits livres "popup" (j'inclus les autres de la série de Carter). C'est en Anglais mais pas besoin de savoir lire. Les animations sont simples mais drôles (grâce aux petites bêtes) et plutôt solides. Ma fille de 3 ans les lit toute seule sur son pot.
