Massive hassle to set up. You have to do the following:1. Download a QR code scanner, which is a hassle because many apps on iPhone are not free; they pretend to offer a free trial but ask for credit card. Or they require an update. Let's face it, virtually nobody uses QR codes these days, so it's really stupid of a company to require a QR code scan rather than just provide a link to an app.2. Once you've opened the link to the app that only shows after you've scanned the QR code, you have to figure out what to press - AS IT'S ALL IN CHINESE! The big orange button is the one to press.3. The app then opens in English.4. Plug the earphones in fully.5. Switch on Bluetooth on your phone.6. Press the record button.7. Quickly follow the poorly translated instructions in the leaflet to pair the earphones with your phone.Then when you want to record a call:1. While on the call, open the app.2. On the earphones, press the record button.3. On the app, press the record button.To save:1. Play the recording to check it's done it properly.2. Click the little upload symbol at the top right of the app to upload, for example, to your phone's files folderThis product records (if it doesn't record both sides of the conversation, you either haven't plugged it in properly or have got a fault one - in the case of a faulty one, get a refund; if the company won't help, go through Amazon's process to get your money back) and the quality is reasonable, but it gets only 3 stars because of the hassle, the requirement to scan a QR code, the poorly translated leaflet, and the app page being n Chinese. It's not 2 stars as the recording quality is decent, it comes with some sort of iPhone headphone jack converter - no idea if any use, don't need it for my phone - which seems legitimate as it's in decent English, saving files is easy, and it's a good price compared to the rip-off apps people put on the iPhone App Store.So overall, pretty decent

It is not what it says it does.. complete waste of money.. doesn’t record the other end of the convo only your side, which is pointless..

An excellent solution to what appeared to be an intractable problem: recording a WhatsApp conversation. This works like a dream and enables seamless e-transfer to an online transposition service.

Once you have set this up, it works well with the free app and does all you would want. Set up is not as intuitive as it might be though and the app does itself no favours. No did I discover how to automate matters so that a full call would be recorded automatically. But for the occasional call that needs recording it's worth the effort.
