Saveurs de la Terre Burgundy Escargots, 17.5Oz

This is the first time I try canned snails, I've always foraged for them back home, but I'm happy I tried this brand. Clean, good size and delicious.

When they say extra-large, they really mean EXTRA LARGE. These were the biggest escargot I've ever eaten. They barely fit into the wells of my escargot dishes. But despite their size, they were tender and moist. Perfect with the garlic butter. Would recommend rinsing and cleaning them first before using them. The first round, I didn't do that and there was some unpleasant sandy grit here and there. After cleaning/rinsing them, they were fine. Would probably try to order smaller escargot next time.

bake in garlic butter with a minute bit of white wine, put on toast and moan.

The can says there are 72 in it - there were only 68. I had a dinner party of 12 so my husband and I had to have fewer than the individual dishes called for. The taste was fine but I was annoyed that I didn't get the number that I thought I would get.

This is the best value, we make these for dinner for us or when I want an appetizer for a group...very good taste and quality.

My grandchildren love escargot and this product contains enough escargot to sate their appetites. I have purchased this product before and will again.

This brand are, Extra large, tender and taste better than Helix Lucorum to me. Viva la Pomatia !!!!

These are just the right size and they have been among the favorite hors d'oeuvres we have served this holiday season.
