Every time I take a sip of this stuff I just want to keep drinking until I finish the entire can. It's phenomenal.A Late One (Ale 8 One or Ale 8 1) is an unusual soda in the sense that it is ginger flavored with a hint of citrus, lightly carbonated, and caffeinated. It is not overly sweet, and contains less sugar than most other sodas. It's clean, refreshing, and different--there is really nothing I can compare it to. Available in both cans and glass bottles, it is great in a can, but absolutely stellar in a glass bottle.The worst part about Ale 8 One is, even though it has been around for about a century, the company isn't very large and so they don't have a large distribution network. As a result, if you live outside of Kentucky/the surrounding areas, you're generally going to have to order it online. And, as soda is heavy, the costs to purchase A Late One is high, especially if you get it in glass bottles. That said, it's totally worth it, as it's a great drink!

My mom was from Kentucky and always told me about a ginger ale she drank growing up that was the best she ever had. Since we live in the mountain states I never could find it. Then with research I found what she was talking about. I can see now why she raved about Ale 8. It's the best ginger ale I've ever had and will order it again since it's not available in my area.

Its hard to find in Texas but i love this stuff

I am from Kentucky and have been living in Hawaii for the past three years. During this time I have missed Ale81 so much. I looked online at the Ale8 store and it costs $200 to ship out here. I came to Amazon. Much cheaper in shipping. The packages always arrive in slightly damaged boxes, but only because it had to travel across the country on an airplane. The taste was a bit flat (just a little bit!) but always reminds me of home. As long as I am where Ale81 doesn't sell, I'll keep ordering.

I love Ale 8 as I lived most my life in KY. Having to pay $27 for a 12 pack was just ridiculous. Add the fact that the lack of protection in the box caused half the cans to be messed up to the point I couldn't even open them. I'll likely not be buying again unfortunately.

Ale 8 one is a special ginger ale made only in Kentucky, that I found on a trip cross country. I found it thru Amazon and have purchased several 12 packs over the past few years. I've had trouble with poor packaging from other sellers, but PrimeDeal Bazaar was great. They put extra packing around the 12 pack box and in the outer wrapping. I didn't have one dented can. Thank you I will definitely choose PrimeDeal Bazaar for all future orders.
