CAUTION - Check Arbor Shaft (Shank) First
A typical household drill has a 3/8" shank. This set is much larger and cannot be used except with a heavy-duty drill. This item has no mention of shank size.

Assembly is anybody's guess
I've used hole saws in the past, but never one that came from a set that required assembling interchangeable pieces. So, I open the kit -- very nicely arranged, lots of hole saws, several "pilot drills" (by which they mean drill bits that slip into the hole saws), an Allen wrench that fits into a slot on the saws, and a couple mandrels. But no instructions on how to assemble the pieces. There's a picture on the side of the box, but it doesn't match the pieces. And nowhere is there any mention of what the Allen wrench is for. I had to come back to the Amazon listing to find a better picture, although even it was a bit of a mismatch, since some of the parts come pre-assembled. In the end, it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to put the thing together, and along the way, I managed to attach one of the larger saws to the big mandrel in such a way that I can't get it apart. All that frustration aside, the things work, but I can think of no good reason not to include both instructions and pictures that match what's inside the box.
