I did not want a 13 AMP plug-in version. This one uses 3xAA Batteries in the main unit, and is supplied with the all important CR2042 Lithium cell for the door push-button unit. There were no problems with the radio control side of things, as it connected straight out of the box. The AA Batteries are not supplied, but this is standard practice across the the industry nowadays, thus keeping the cost of the doorbell down and allowing the buyer to use Alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Brilliant little doorbell with a good range of ringtones.

DIY scares me and even though my confidence doing tasks is less than my competence, I still find it daunting. So this little item was manageable. I did hurt my nail as getting the back off was tricky and I did put the batteries in the wrong way at first but success, its up and working.There is a volume and a tunes button with a surprising number of tunes. The volume is great, though the gap between quiet and loud could have an extra level. The tunes go on a bit long and are quite extravagant but they do the job and there are some nice classic and interesting ones.More ordinary bing bong sounds would be good instead of songs, but I can live with that given its possible to assemble.The stick on feature for the bell doesn't seem as sturdy as raw plugs but we will see if it stays up and justifies it's reasonable cost, compared to other doorbells.

The bell works as it should. Really easy to install and set up. The adhesion is good and it has stuck fast to the door surround. Following the instructions I paired the bell to the door chime easily and it always receives the signal when someone presses the bell. I was very pleased with the numerous bell tunes available, I was spoilt for choice and may change it every so often. Volume was also easy to adjust. I can take the chime out the garden and still receive a signal from the front door bell. If all you want is a simplistic doorbell easy to install and set up then this is the one.

Works very well, straight out of the box. Easy to fit the bellpush unit with adhesive pad supplied. Neat little bell unit and with a huge array of sounds to choose - although I would have been quite happy with half a dozen bell-type noises. Perfectly loud enough to be heard anywhere in our house. Only one issue: instructions don't tell you how to change the battery in the bellpush unit, implying that it isn't possible. However there's a slot in it that could perhaps be used for fitting a screwdriver to lever it off so maybe it's easy enough to do. We'll have to see when the battery runs out. All in all, a very decent price for a neat and effective little wireless doorbell.

Everything was neatly packed, took only less than 10 minutes to set up, and it does the job and the volume of the chime is loud enough, too. Finally got a working doorbell, many thanks;)

Swift delivery.Compact size and good variable volume control.Missed the delivery of this bell because old bell not loud enough. Will not miss future deliveries.Umpteen tunes to choose from. They all sound much the same to me because of my sound distortion problem but at least I can hear someone is at the door.I am not the best judge of the sound quality.I like being able to move the receiver where I want to as it does not need a power socket but runs off batteries. Could take it in the garden or garage if working outside.We use the “fruit and nut case” tune as it befits our household.Recommended.
