Cute. Random filler pages.
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for an 8 year old girl. After looking through the product images and reviews, it felt like it taught a lot of kindness and confidence building lessons in a creative, artistic, and fun book that would be appropriate for this age. I did notice prior to wrapping that there was at least a handful of blank pages at the end of the book. Not totally sure what that was about. I even checked to see if there was any instructions to use those pages for, but didn’t see any. Overall, happy with my purchase. Did feel a bit high priced for what it is though.

My daughter loved this!
This journal is a gem for tween girls! My daughter loved it so much that she asked for it again to give as a gift to her friend. It's filled with great prompts and activities that help girls develop gratitude and mindfulness in a positive way. The design is lovely, and the content is spot-on for girls in this age group. It's definitely a hit in our household! I highly recommend it to any parent looking to encourage their daughter's personal growth.

Thoughtful, Cute, Positive, and Empowering!
I bought a couple copies of this book, one to give to a 12-year-old cousin who is shy and quiet, and another to give to a friend of mine who has a daughter around the same age... It's well made, the illustrations and layout are great, and it really does seem like it will be empowering for young girls. The questions and writing prompts are thoughtful, but not cheesy, and I think it's really important for kids at this age, or even younger like 8 or 9, to learn how to think about themselves and life in a positive way, to engage life, and to build confidence and self-esteem — I sure as hell could have used more of that when I was that age...Anyways, this is a great gift for a child in your life, or any kid you know who needs it really... The author says she made this for her daughter, and you can tell that there is a lot of honest love put into the project.I'll definitely be buying more during the holiday season to give to book / toy drives!

Our favorite journal for big kids
The Kathryn Rudder Foundation includes this book in our monthly hospital outreach at the local children’s hospital. It’s a great way to help kids process their feelings if they aren’t feeling up to talking. It’s our favorite journal for big kids!

🤗 Enjoy Getting To Know Yourself 🦄
This is an all encompassing book on love that should get ten Gold Hearts instead of only five stars. Love of one self and love of how to treat others, when you love yourself. Young girls and young women are always questioning. Did I do this right? Am I good enough? This journal will show them they are beautiful the way they are and what they are questioning others have also. One of my most favorite parts of the book is where it asks, "If you had a net and you could capture your most favorite day what would it be?". We can all stop and think on that one when the day drags on. There are pages to color with your emotions and pages to color for fun. The author wrote this book with a lot of love that shines through to the user. So, give a hug to a girl or soon to be woman you know and get them this wonderfully written book with the most whimsical illustrations. Happy Journaling.
