Does what it says - quick, short-term results
It does brighten your face and clear your complexion, leaving your face cleaner and smoother for that natural glow look just after one use.It smells amazing and contains birch leaf extracts for whitening which you can see in the white mud itself. Not sure if it will treat age spots but it will certainly lighten your skin temporarily after using. After all, there are many factors to a good, blemish-free complexion besides a lovely facial product.

Skin Pick-me-up
If you're looking for something that brightens your complexion and reduces blamishes, skin spots etc, this is definitely a worthwhile product. I've stopped wearing makeup as this, alongside a few other products has really evened out my skin tone, redness, etc. It lifts everything out of my pores and gives my skin a soft, fresh look.

A legitimate product!!!
I absolutely adored this face mask, but hated Sephora's 70$ price tag that came with it. I still can't believe the price of this on Amazon, but it's a true product!!! Came completely sealed and included everything!! (In the picture I already removed the foil that sealed the mask itself)As for the actual product, it smells SO good. Makes my face feel tight and fresh, but definitely needs a moisturizer afterwards (as with any mud mask really).Definitely going to buy it again here as soon as mine runs out!!!

Good mask – however...
I first came across Glamglow through one of the (too many) subscription boxes I get. So far, I’ve used three of them – Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment (green packaging – LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!), Flashmud Brightening Treatment (orange packaging – a close second place, and what I am reviewing here), and Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment (black packaging – to be avoided at all costs).First off, I like the packaging of Glamglow products. The boxes are really cute, easy to open, and they include multi-language pamphlets. This is to be expected because of the higher price point, I think, compared to other products. The jars feel solid, and you get a decent amount of product – however, I do think the recommended price is too high, for what you get. At least on Amazon you can get it for a lower price than at, say, Sephora.I don’t have any problems with the product itself. There is a definite scent, sort of like tea I suppose, that I don’t mind. It’s a light beige color, with flecks of what I can only presume to be leaves. These flecks aren’t too big, but you definitely see them, especially when applied to your face. They don’t bother me and I certainly don’t have any concerns that they’re going to clog or damage the drain in my bathroom sink. I use my (clean) fingers to apply and I like that it’s not too thick, and not too runny. It stays in place and turns kind of translucent when dried. I don’t really feel anything when it’s on, aside from a slight warmth for the first few minutes. It feels really nice on the skin when it dries. Definitely try to avoid the hairline when applying because once it’s dry it’s a real pain to get out of hair!In a nutshell, the directions say to first start using it three days in a row, then use 2-3 times per week. Apply to a dry face in circular motions to pre-exfoliate (whatever that means), leave on for a minimum of 20 minutes, then wash off. Must use high-SPF sunscreen daily, too. Unfortunately the stated directions are the reason I’m giving this four stars, rather than five. The three days in a row were ok, although by the third day I noticed my face was quite pink after I washed it off. I left it on for 20 minutes only. I noticed a slight warmth for the first five minutes or so it was on, but nothing major. In the following two weeks I used it twice a week, again for 20 minutes only, and after each time my face was very pink and felt warm. It took about an hour for the redness to go down. In the third week I got distracted and it ended up being on my face for just under 30 minutes. When I noticed the time I wasn’t really worried since the directions explicitly say a “minimum of 20 minutes”, but when I washed it off I knew it was too long – my face was very red, and very warm – sort of like sunburn. I applied a water-based moisturizer, skipped my usual face serum, and waited for the redness to go down. Three hours later it was still pink-ish and not as hot, but still not how it usually looks and feels. I applied some more moisturizer and went to bed. My face was back to normal the following morning.I found this reaction odd since I don’t think I have overly-sensitive skin. I’m combination with oily t-zone and the occasional dry patch in colder months. It’s certainly never happened with any mud mask I’ve tried in the past, with the exception of the black Glamglow mask – but that was more about the sheer harshness of the product and its application and removal.Based on this experience I now use it once a week, for 10-15 minutes only, and without using “circular motions” to apply, as indicated in the directions. I use the green Glamglow mask on a different day of the week, so I’m still getting my twice-a-week dose. Now that I’ve dropped the time I use it for, my skin feels really nice and smooth. I’m not really sure what a “brightening” effect is supposed to look like, but my skin is clear so I’m happy!Overall, I really do like this product, but with one qualification – don’t follow the directions :)Lastly, one quibble I do have with Glamglow products is that, for the three I’ve purchased at least, the directions for use are not printed on the jar itself. The jars say the usual “safe use” things – avoid eye area, rinse with water if you do get it in your eyes, external use only etc. but do not state how long to leave the product on for, whether it should be applied to dry or wet skin, and the like. Those directions are found in the paper leaflet included in the box though, but it is a bit annoying to have to dig the leaflet out if I forget length of time for the products I use – especially since they’re all different. Also, the ingredients list is only found on the box, not on the jar, or in the paper leaflet. I haven’t knocked a star off for this, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Fantastic!
This has definitely smoothed out my skin after a month of use. It smells delicious, works as advertised and I've had no unintentional side effects. Skin is smoother and glowing after use. I used as recommended 3 nights in a row then 2-3 times per week. I do this after I shower and wash my face, before bed.

Not for acne prone skin
I had high hope but unfortunately this made me break out. It’s also a lot of work to massage on and I didn’t see or feel any positive impact. Also the instructions are so tiny.. maybe it works great for a different skin type but I won’t be buying this again.

I use this mask once every week and it is by far the best mask I've ever used in general and in the glamglow collection. It helps with dark spots and uneven skin tone over time and after using the mask, it makes your skin so so soft, clean feeling, and smooth. Worth every penny!

Don’t waste your money. Really :((
I tried very many products and always on top of new inventions. After the trip to Spain, I noticed dark spots all over my face. Of course, I started to look for a solution. This cream does nothing. No glow, no skin smoothing, and no removal any stops. I used all jar. My skin is mixed. This is my honest opinion and it was NOT worth it, I would say so. Also, the best sun protection is Japanese products. American well known didn’t help ..50+ :(((
