Easy installation
Replaced this Shurflo with the original Shurflo that came with the RV. That pump had lived a long life (17 years) and finally up and had enough. Replacing Shurflo with Shurflo was easy as the old plumbing connections fit perfectly. I'd read reviews about not having the connectors as part of the sale package, so wasn't worried. Pump installed easy, pretty much same size as old one. Wiring was easy. It self primed and pumped fine with good pressure. Runs very quiet. I did have problems with pump running continuously and not cycling off. Researched that, was ready to adjust the pressure switch, but when I tried it this morning, it had self corrected. I think you have to let the pump run for several minutes to get to the right pressure to cycle off. Works fine now. Happy with the product now; only time will tell how long it lasts.

Easy Peezy
Super easy install. Unscrewed the inlet and outlet valve, and reattached them to the new pump after putting on the filter that i chose to replace. Reattched one wire clip. Cut the other wire, skinned it and wire nutted it. Done. The inlet hose will have water coming out a decent bit so I just put my finger over the hole one completely unscrewed and positioned the pump into place and then quickly reattched it. I don't know if that avoided getting air in the line and losing prime, but I didn't have any issues with that :)The only issue i had was having NO hot water. So after troubleshooting it and being stumped because there's only 2 wires and I KNEW it was right, but... then you start questioning yourself lol my wife who just returned from being out of the country realized she turned the wrong switch on for the hot water!! Haha Dohhhhh!

Great, Quiet OEM Replacement!
Well, when I drained my camper water system last fall it seems that I forgot to remove the water from the pump. The other day I attached the hose from the house to the city water connection on the camper, pressurized it to check out the faucets and WOW, it sounded like a firehose beneath the dinette seat! Anyway, the water inside the check valve chamber in the pump had frozen over the winter and literally pulled the screws out threads and all. After getting everything shut down, the mini flood cleaned up and the old pump removed I began to research new pumps. This pump fit all the specs of my old one and was highly rated and noted to be relatively quiet. I ordered it and it was delivered promptly the next day. It took about five minutes to read over the instructions for any oddities and install it. No leaks, great pressure and it's really quiet as a bonus. Tested the check valve with city water pressure again and everything is as designed.I'm very happy with this purchase and feel that I have a much quieter, better quality pump than came in the camper new and since I'll be able to repair the old one I'll now have a spare. Win-Win! I highly recommend this pump and would order it again in a similar situation in a heartbeat.

For use in our motorhome
My previous one last about 4 years. I replaced it with a cheaper one, Seaflo, which only last about a month. Paid the $15.25 to ship it in for replacement or repair under their warrenty. But will not purchase Seaflo again. I will only use Seaflo as a backup. I purchased this Shurflo again for main usage in our RV. I guess you get what you pay for!
