Aftermarket Replacement Pads Liner for Giro Exodus Helmet

The product was fine and appeared to be well made. Installing the pads was a bit difficult since there were no pictures or instructions. The old pads weren’t on my helmet so I had to guess a good bit when putting the new ones on.

These pads were easy to install and have given my 1994 Giro Helmet a new lease on life (no, I have not fallen on rocks with it!). I was able to install them and the fit was unchanged.

These are the best replacement pads I have used to date. They are almost too thick, since they gave my Giro helmet a slightly tighter fit than before. I don't like tightness if it impedes ventilation, but these pads seem to fit the bill with a little time and use to mold to my head.

When I received the kit, I thought "I'm in the wrong business". It didn't look like much (cheap) and I wasn't sure how it was to be installed, but after a short time I had it installed and on my head. It fits the helmet great and looks fine. The helmet looks and fits my head as well as it did when new, over 10 years ago!

These aftermarket pads are very thick, more than twice as thick as the pads that came with the helmet. Could be good if your helmet is fairly loose, but the new thicker pads make my helmet fit too tight. Also, they don't seem to transfer sweat away from my head as well as the original pads.Maybe they will get better as the foam compresses a bit over time...to be seen.

Fits good but takes sime time to really line out good. A template would be of use.
