Top Notch no doubt
I found this product to have a big impact on absorption time for both jojoba oil and grapefruit seed oil. I felt it enhanced the penetration as a carrier oil. The 8 ounce bottle I purchased didn't last long enough to make it into many of my lotion formulations, and I was more precise and accurate with % and weighing ingredients when whipping up the first batch or two of lotion but the time or two this was added as an additional ingredient for my formulation the results I found to be fantastic, and without it the product was much more heavy and grease feeling; though my neglect to what ratio calculated was an important factor to mention as I was not looking at perfecting a product when this premium ingredient was absent, garnishing the grease feel to my last home-made lotion batches. The preservative was found too unpleasant for me to start trying to make lotion for other people anymore, but this would be an ideal selection for me to remember for a body butter that I'm making this Christmas. It improves the delivery of anti-aging formulations, perfect product for the milfs.

Very good with one limitation
This works perfectly as a slip agent. I would recommend it. Do not use if you have a tree nut allergy. I was surprised that this was a limitation.

A good scent free solvent for perfumery uses.
Isopropyl myristate is very much like isopropyl alcohol, in terms of chemical character and for the solubility profile, so it dissolves many perfumery oil ingredients, just like alcohol. There are some differences between isopropyl myristate and isopropyl alcohol, such as that IPM has no smell, and IPM is also purported to aid in permeating the skin, externally, so it may have some more capabilities in to the therapeutic realm, since it can assist in absorption of the product through the skin. The price of this product is very reasonable, and it will produce several standard size bottles of fragrance at 80% concentration. I like the dropper flip top cap for the product, as well. It makes pouring the liquid in to other containers pretty simple.

Oil covered the package and bottle, but the product itself is good.
The bottle is wrapped in plastic and inside it was covered with a layer of the liquid. Luckily since IPM is fast absorbing it wasn't gross and greasy to handle but it makes me concerned that the bottle wasn't sealed well or the workspace where they're bottled is messy. The IPM itself is IPM, absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth, satiny feel. It's great for reducing the greasiness of body butters and other anhydrous products and I highly recommend getting it from somewhere if that's what you want to make.

Looks, feels, and performs as it should.
I made a hair serum with this first. Love the feel it gives. Adds such a nice slip. I need to look for more recipes that contain this as an ingredient, because I love the feel. It did peak a teeny tiny bit. I only noticed when I unwrapped it, that the bottle was slick. It was not enough to make the bottle look less full, just a couple drops. Love the product. Highly suggest if you need it for a product!

DIY Braun shaver cleaner ingredient
Great for making your own Braun shaver cleaner. 4% Isopropyl myristrate added to 70% isopropyl alcohol with wintergreen and glycerin (Walmart) makes a great inexpensive substitute to the expensive Braun cleaner refill cartridges
