Great value little cutting tool!
First of all the #1 bad review is blade discoloring or corrosion. I guess as a response to that the packaging now includes specific instructions about how to care for the knife to prevent corrosion, and what to do if you see spotting on the knife. I’ve had it for 5 dives and I think it’s a great value for a cheap cutting tool. Very secure holder that requires a button to be pushed to release the knife, so it takes some practice to get it out, or the use of 2 hands. Overall I will purchase another one when this one wears out. At this price they’re easily replaceable once a year or so if need be and still great value.

Great blade for a fair price
So I got this knife around Black Friday and was really excited to use it for diving. I was using it to open some other packages I had received and slipped through and ended up slicing my finger. I got three stitches out of it, very sharp and durable! I know that’s silly but it’s a pretty nice small blade for the price! I will say it would be nice if it came with a strap of some sort to utilize it. Has a nice button release sheath and is a good blunt tip blade with VERY sharp edges.

Great for kayaking.
FYI 420 steel WILL rust. "Stainless" doesn't mean "won't rust". Let's just get that out of the way.420 refers to the amount of carbon in the steel. More carbon=more rust.If that's your priority look for 304, Marine 316, or titanium. This is a BUDGET knife which will do best in a fresh water environment. While this knife may not be a good option for diving, it's still good for the price. After losing a similar knife during a kayak roll, I purchased this one.Surface rust will appear quickly in salt water, but with some care it will hold up just fine.Rinse with fresh water after each use. If submerged: remove from the handle, rinse or let soak in water overnight, lightly oil before reassembling.I've gotten YEARS out of knives like this with some care. This knife is my "daily driver" which I keep strapped to the inside of my Greenjacket.Just compare the price to an NRS Co-pilot (even on Pro) and ask yourself which you'd rather drop in the water. The button is easy enough to press, but still secure. If doing anything technical I'll still put a folding knife in my vest and/or strap a Co-pilot to the outside, but this knife sees the most regular use when it comes to exposure to the elements, cutting blocks of cheese, and just general use.Would recommend.

Compact and sharp. Perfect for travel.
Nice compact and sharp dive knife. I like the hard sheath that holds the knife securely but is still easy to releasel. I was hoping the screws on the back would line up with mounting points on my BCD but need an alternative. I like the line cutter and flat end for scraping, prying or ? Hard end of handle for banging tank if needed.

Great product
Absolutely love this product, have been using it for awhile now and appears to be holding up well.

Rusted on first use.
I just missed the window to return these. First dive we rinsed all equipment in fresh water immediately after the dive. We then rewashed the knives and patted them dry. They rusted and pitted immediately. I knew by the price these would not be the best but thought they might make a decent backup on my bc but they are garbage.

One of the two knives had rust and significant pitting.
I bought a pair of knives, and both are quite sharp. However, one had significant rust and pitting right out of the box.

Good Quality, Made in Taiwan NOT Chicom.
This is a good quality dive knife of good design, no sharp point to accidently stab or poke. Snaps into sheath with positive click, but also easy to remove in a hurry. Nice compact size. Overall a great little knife.
