Handles nicely and bit was stronger than expected
Very flexible and did the job. Excellent tool for perforating holes in a small in-ground pond liner to turn it into a flower bed instead.

Adequate Drill Bit
I used this last weekend to drill some holes to run Ethernet cable through my walls. Now, this drill bit did what it is supposed to do. It drilled through the floor behind my wall so I could run the Ethernet down into the wall below. The bit itself was sharp and bit enough for me to get the whole started without too much trouble. The issue I had (and I'll admit, this may be more an issue with my drill or myself) is that trying to get the bit to back out through the holes it made was problematic. One thing I noticed was that the part of this bit that you put in the drill chuck is quite smooth. I had to really tighten my drill around it to prevent it from slipping when I was trying to back it out through the holes. It took me about 15 minutes of tightening and retightening my drill on this bit and wiggling it around in reverse before it came out. There was a brief moment in time where I thought I was going to just have to push the bit through the hole and leave it in my wall.So when it's all said and done, this bit performed its job and I was able to complete my task. Just want to point out that the finish on this thing is smooth and may cause problems.

Eagle Tool US EA75054 Flex Shank Installer Drill Bit
I wish I filmed this, but I was in my attic and was hard enough to get into the spot and very dark. but once I was setup and got the right spot I was able to drill the hole in just a few minutes. I am only a DYI'er and have only drilled a few holes in my own house but this new bit was by far the best and easiest. I just had to drill the hole, back it out once or twice and then I was through. really simple.

You know you need it. Bite the bullet.
Give that wall the bird! Unfortunately these quality tools aren't cheap but it is better that doing drywall work or blindly drilling through top plate in the attic (and dropping your bit down the wall) so you can drop ballchain down the wall and try and fish it out the bottom to attach your wire.

DID NOT WORK ON DENSE WOOD!
I wanted this to work but unfortunately it kept skipping. I tried to test directly on my visible home 2x2 and 4x4 frames and it failed miserably. My countersink wood drill bit fared much better. This means I have to make more openings in my drywall than I wanted to, but it is what it is. It may work with less dense wood, but I am going to return mine.

Slips in chuck.
Bought this to bore holes in sole plates in the wall for ethernet in my house. This doesn't work in traditional drill chucks as best as I hoped. I barely got it through 4 inches of old growth pine. Although I got the job done, It skipped like mad, raising the issue it might get stuck in the wall forever.
