MURDOCH MYSTERIES SEASON 13 DVD

We love the Murdoch series and even if some people are disappointed with the writing we are still fans!

I binge watched the 3 movies (different actors), then 12 seasons of the TV show with the made for TV Christmas movies as they came out by year alongside the show. Now I finished watching Season 13 and also enjoyed it.

After a disappointing Season 12, I waited to buy Season 13, hoping the show would return to the original format of mysteries wrapped in a bit of humor, invention, and amusing characters. Season 13 focuses on one social/political issue after another. And the episodes have become darker - little humor is evident. Of course, the bad guys are all too obvious - a dock workers strike; guess if the bad guys are labor or management. All very disappointing, much like some of the current BBC shows.Addendum as of June 2021: I have now finished the series and have had time to reflect. Murdoch 13 is a very mixed bag. As noted above my biggest problem is that the joy is gone and to many of the episodes seem to emphasize a social issue. I don't care if a person is gay or not, but I don't watch Murdoch (or I didn't) to have this and other issues (even if I agree with them) first of foremost. Also, some of the episodes verge on cringeworthy. The writing has lost its way. All very sad.

Came across Murdoch many years ago and can hardly wait to order each year’s DVD set. Produced in Canada, set in Toronto around the turn of the 20th century, we have a detective “inventing” methods to evaluate criminal evidence decades before those methods are widely used. Hiring Frank Lloyd Wright to build a house including a “cooking” room (room size microwave oven) with the expected results- someone is killed and microwaved in the room.

I disliked. Murdoch Season 12 and season 13 because they would not playReturned series 13 3 times because it wouldn’t playReturned. series 12. twice expect a replacement Sunday with the hope it will work if. Couldn't play it as it's region a and I live in region b. Can't blame Amazon or the seller as there is no region mark on the cover

I am a big fan of this show. Very entertaining.

The product is exactly as described. The packaging is of sturdy quality. All of the discs work.

Series well done, but some episodes a bit stade and tired, actors as well.

I couldn't wait to watch season 13 when I received the video.
