A handy little book to do some quick studying before you go to France

This was a gift for my parents who will be going to France for the second time and will be handy to know some basic phrases while there

Cool usable phrases beyond just where is the bank/,hotel etc fun & useful phrases for social interaction recommended for a quick introduction to chatting in French

Will be handy for travelling in France.

I purchased this handy, easy to read and understand book to remind me of some simple FRENCH phrases and verbal communication skills so that I can attempt to welcome and chat to a FRENCH lady that I met socially recently. I believe that this is at the very least polite. My fingers are firmly crossed for a positive reaction.

It was quite good but it didnt really address what i wanted.which was just some basic words and everyday phrases. It had too much grammar and didnt always show you how to say some words. Probably for someone who had a bit better knowledge of french than me.

Thought there will be proverbs along with phrases.... but ain't there. Not very useful. Overall a good book.
