The Brilliant Dot-to-Dot Book for Grown Ups

Hours of relaxing fun!
I am really enjoying this book. I do wish it had more dots per picture, but it has a good balance between a large # of dots while still being fairly clear and simple designs. Many other books I've tried have clusters of dots so close together so that they are hard to see, and often require using a ruler. This one is "adult", while still being fun and relaxing. This is quite a thick book and will last me awhile. My only minor complaint and reason for 4 stars is that the binding makes it hard to work both sides of the page; a spiral binding would be so much better.

Lots of NEW dot to dot pictures!!!! A total of 284 pictures to make.
This book has at least 90% NEW dot to dot pictures!! And they are great and help me relax! There are still some of the same pictures as the other books have but in more detail. The size of the numbers are a tiny bit small for me but I just use a bright light over my shoulder and a pair of reading glasses over my regular glasses (I am 61 and can hardly see last my nose). Yes, I look funny but I am okay with that as I really enjoy seeing the puzzles turn into the description given! The book has 284 pictures to make. The book is more than worth the cost. Some books I have purchased in the past for the same price were completed within 1 night and had less than 15% of this one. This book has lasted me a lot longer. I will buy from this seller again. I hope you have at least half as much enjoyment as I have had if you purchase this book but I think you will enjoy just as much as I do.

A lot of fun
I was given a different edition as a gift and enjoyed it so much that I bought more. I use them to keep my mind active but in a different way than reading and crossword puzzles. I also enjoy trying to figure out what the picture will be before I'm done

A great beginner book with a lot of variety in puzzles to keep you engaged.
I'm a big fan of dot-to-dot puzzles. This book is filled with some great puzzles that can be completed in a short time. I like how many puzzles there are as well how they are categorized in each section. I also appreciate how some bits are already filled out so once completed, the final picture really does resemble what it's supposed to. My only gripe with the book is that the puzzles are printed on both sides of the page and, as the pages are not incredibly thick, can lead to some bleed through. That being said, this is still a great book to get you into the world of dot-to-dot.

So Many Puzzles!
This is a very large book with so many puzzles and themes. Some people like to color them in after completing, and it may be difficult since there are puzzles on both sides of each page. But the book, the puzzles, are all great. I've only had it a few days but have done several puzzles and am ecstatic with it!

Numbers too small and faint for aged eyes to distinguish well enough.
I gave the book a 3 because the numbers were ok for me to work with and the book had many pictures to complete. But because I bought this book for my 2 Aunts in their 80s to do as a stress relieving activity during the Covid 2 crisis I reduced my satisfaction by 2 stars because they asked me to return the books due to the numbers being too small and some too faint for their eyes to work with.

Good
Good puzzles. However, the book does not lay flat, so it makes drawing the lines uncomfortable. Drawing straight lines over curved paper is not super fun. But, a great dot to dot book. If you're looking for one, this is it.All numbers are visible.

Great value and best puzzles
This book is a great value! David Woodroffe is my favorite author of dot-to-dot for grown-ups, and this book is large, has 270 full-page puzzles. I tear the pages out and work on a clipboard, which makes it much easier to turn the page as I draw lines; it'd be great if the pages were perforated. But at this price, I'm not complaining -- just enjoying. If you haven't tried dot-to-dot since you were a kindergartener, consider it . . . I find it soothing and fun, even if slightly silly for a senior citizen!

WOW! this a very thick dot to dot book!
This Dot to Dot book is what it says BRILLIANT! It is a lovely thick book, well presented and a joy to handle. There are 284 pages. The categories are as follows:- Animal Kingdom, Landmarks, Iconic Buildings, Works of Art, Royal Family, Entertainment, Sport, Air Land and Sea, and Scenes. I am finding the dot to dot books very relaxing and sometimes it is hard to say stop and do some more another day they are so good. Just like the adult colouring books, and of course you can colour the images once you have joined all the dots.I have invested in Pentel automatic pencils from Amazon. This saves on sharpening as there is always a point. The Kerry is a good one as is the Pentel Graphgear 1000 both well worth getting. then you don't need a pencil sharpener. . Also a good rubber for when you happen to join the wrong dots. Also a nice bright (maybe energy saving LED) light for when it gets dark, and you are set to go. In my local shop two piles of dot to dot books sold out in two days. So I was delighted to see them on Amazon. This book is for adults not young children as needs concentration but is a pleasure when you see the completed image materialise before your eyes. I highly recommend.

GREAT BOOK
This publication has lots of different puzzles and the quality of the book is superb and great value for money. Gets the imagination going and lends itself to using colours.

Anybody selling this book should make customers like myself who have bought the first 2 books aware ...
This book is a compilation of the 2 prior books done by this author, which I have both finished one and am almost thru with the second one. Anybody selling this book should make customers like myself who have bought the first 2 books aware that this is a compilation. that did not happen. I will be more careful in the future. This is a great book for anyone who wants to take up Dot to Dot it would be to the sellers advantage to let people know that this is a compilation. Joseph Treschel
