Pros: Great costume hat, worked with Halloween costumeCons: Was semi-uncomfortable, semi-disfigured, embroidery was unrealisticI bought this for an upcoming Halloween party a few years ago and I can say that it has aged well. While the hat is not really adjustable, I found it uncomfortable to wear for an extremely long period of time and you may find yourself pretending to be old-fashioned and taking your hat off to address ladies so you don't seem out of character. Overall the hat was perfect for the evening with the exception of the pressure lines on my forehead at removal. There's not many black captain hats on Amazon so this worked out well.
