Product of Israel. Pack Of 45. These beautiful Chanukah candles are made in Safed, (Szfat) Israel by Safed Candles. These traditional candles are carefully dipped and hand decorated by skilled artisans in the ancient city of Safed. Each box contains 45 of the 6-inch (15cm) candles and sized to fit most menorahs: enough to last all eight nights of Chanukah. The candles are dripless and burn bright and clean for more than one hour.

I have been pleased with them in the past
This is about the 3rd year I have purchased these candles for the holiday. I have been pleased with them in the past, but they are terrible this year. They keep sputtering out (no, they are not in a drafty location), hardly in keeping with the tradition of the holiday. Quite a few were curving as if they had been exposed to heat. I live in NJ so it wasn't as if they sat out in the sun waiting for me to pick up the package when it arrived. I am very sad and disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for my candles next year.

Not "dripless"
We bought these for the first time for Chanukah this year. I was happy to find such pretty candles that were advertised as dripless. They were in fact pretty but boy did they drip. Everywhere within two minutes. We had to blow them out within three minutes. Won't buy these again.

Candles sizzle and put themselves out!?
Something is seriously wrong with these. I think there are water pockets in the wax. While they are burning they periodically make loud sizzling noises, and occasionally they put themselves out--see photo! (On the 5th night we have lost the shamash and the rightmost candle--so far!) The candles are also fairly curved. Also, unlike most Safed candles, they definitely aren't beeswax. It's all so out of character that I wonder if they are even genuine Safed, or possibly fakes.

Beautifully colored - My daughter choose each evening's design. The bases were quite wide for my smaller (but not tiny) menorah and a few of these candles broke as I tried to insert them. As I learned, :) it's best to warm the base in your hands and gently shape them to fit your holder.

Extremely poor quality - DON'T BUY!
These used to be good, now they are horrible! As others have mentioned, they make a sizzling sound at times, the don't always burn all the way down and they drip everywhere! I also noticed many size irregularities. Some were too big and some were dangerously too small. My menorah is a mess. I will never buy these again.

They are pretty, but I won't be buying them again
The Yellow orange candles were so much thinner than the rest that I found it necessary to melt the bottoms every time to avoid them falling out.Many of the candles would not burn all the way down.They are pretty, but I won't be buying them again.

BAD DONT BUY
VERY BAD CANDLES, KEEP GOING OUT THEY SPUTTER AND GO OUT HAVE TO RELITE THREE OR FOUR TIMES TO GET THEM TO STAY ON. DO NOT BUT THESE AT ANY PRICE POOR PRODUCT

These candles don't even burn all the way to the bottom. I have never reviewed a product before but this is ridiculous!
