Great Quality
Great aftermarket stem. Was worried that you'd never be able to tighten the pivot bolt enough to prevent movement. Turns out this isn't an issue. The interior surfaces are what's known as a rosette pattern. Basically a bunch of interlocking "v"s. Result being that once it's tightened town, it doesn't budge. Would definitely buy again.***My Rating Criteria***5 Stars: Works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect when purchasing this type of product, good value, ships in retail packaging4 Stars: Works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect when purchasing this type of product, might have a minor flaw or ships in undisclosed non-retail packaging3 Stars: Generally works but I'd change a few things OR Product works great but differs from description/images2 Stars: Barely works but can be made useful if you try1 Star: Useless, does not perform it's intended function whatsoever and is generally a waste of money

Use long handle wrench
It works, but disappointing for a couple reasons. Firstly, the angle adjustment will be loose unless you tighten the screw like a gorilla. This is hard to do with a regular old allen key. More like an allen bit on a long handle ratchet wrench. And you are in danger of stripping the thread. Other annoyance is that rather than two 5mm allen screws on the front handlbar clamp, there are four smaller screws so you need to go find a different key. (The other three screws are 5's so . . .) So it's harder and more annoying to adjust the twist in the bar, which you will need to do when adjusting the angle. I'm a big fan of the 5mm allen key as the universal bike fixer and wish just every bolt on a bike would use this size as would be possible if manufacturers just made the effort. Thirdly, this thing is heavy. I would love to be able to whip out a small 5 key on the trail and adjust this thing, but this in not really convenient. More like a set-it-and-don't-mess-with-it kind of hardware.

Excellent product, but may need shims to fit your headstock.
This required a 5 and a 10mm shim to work with my existing headstock shims- so the local bike shop had them in stock and it was $4 to make it fit properly. Once that detail was taken care of this is a wonderful product. I've a 36" inseam so to be comfortable on a bike I have to have the seat post pretty much at maximum extension, and that can make it a long way down to the handlebars- this moved the bars up and back and removed much of the weight that my hands had to support. Huge improvement!!!

Works fine.
Got this to upgrade a "new to me" Giant Roam for a more upright riding position. This has worked fine and improved the ride by bring the bars up and more in line with the stem. Seems to be well built and I have had no problems. The stem mounting part that attaches to the headset is shorter than the stock one so buy some headset spacers to make this work. 4 stars as I've only had it a few weeks so don't know the longevity. Otherwise I like it.

A great deal for this quality which is great
This Wake, MTB stem is just as high quality as all the higher priced ones. It works perfectly and has a great look and price. I have bought what are supposed to be higher quality ones in the past and the only difference I can see is that my higher priced ones have a higher gloss finish on them and that's it so in the future if i need an MTB stem I will buy this again and save money.

Good quality and versatile
Sometimes you know that you need to change something on your bike but your not sure what it is. This stem lets you change the agle so that you can determine what's comfortable. At least that's how I use it. Then I buy a fixed stem. Recommend.

Easily adjustable and strong enough for recreational use
Pretty good way to raise the bars without swapping them. It locks up pretty tight due to an interference fit mechanism (tapered locking ramps that come together when you tighten the bolt). However I had to exceed the torque spec a bit to get it to lock tight with no discernable play...will never be as strong as a solid stem but should be fine for city / path riding and light trails.

Kinda snug on Post but quality build
Fit pretty snug on post even with screws totally loosened. Made getting the preload on the bearings a little tougher without some fiddling around. Good quality build. Kinda heavy, but this isn't for a weight wienie bike anyway. Good adjustment also.
