I researched smartphones for months before purchasing this OnePlus 8 Pro. I have not been disappointed !! I have been an iPhone user for over 15 years and strongly considered staying with iPhone but I liked the greater flexibility that you have with the Android system. I also considered Samsung's offerings but was put off by their notorious bloatware and the high price of their devices. The OnePlus 8 Pro has given me everything I wanted at a reasonable price (for a top end phone). The display is beautiful and smooth. The audio output is incredible. The camera has far exceeded my expectations - taking some really stunning pictures in low light. I am very pleased and would recommend the phone to anyone looking for a high end phone that will last them for years.

I'd always stayed away from premium phones. First of all, I couldn't afford them until now and I was always a little suspect of the "Premium" label. This deserves that label. The onyx black phone is mysterious, elegant, and chiseled simplicity. It feels like something I shouldn't have. I've also had phones that weighed less. But this isn't weight; Its gravity and it's mine.

Be aware, Dual SIM capability is not working for US versions of either the 8 or 8pro. There's a message that says it will be enabled in a future OTA update. They say it's a dual SIM phone, but it's not at the moment.
