Q: Will this work on above ground intex pool? Can it be used under water?

Q: Can this be used on a split in inflatable lid?

It will depend how big the split it - I have used mine to repair a few small punctures from my cats teeth (i know, its ridiculous) but they were only a few millimetres wide - it lasted for a year but was never the same, but i think its because the punctures were right on the seam and hard to properly stick a patch down- air still slowly leaked. i ended up buying a new inflatable lid . the do work perfectly to repair puntures on the liner of the hot tub itself, it is a more rigid plastic than the inflatable lid. Hope this helps

Q: how long till you can use pool

My puncture was on the outside of the laz spa. I followed the instructions, did the repair in the afternoon and was using it 24hours later

Q: Does this fix a tear on the outside of the tub?

Yes this would work depending on the size of tear, obviously if it is too large for the patches then no!
