Chevy Suburban Oil Filter Adaptor Plug Socket
Must have this in your toolbox specially marked just for GM vehicles to remove the plugs on the oil filter adaptor to get to the T40 bolts. Worked perfect and is hard to find in local stores.

Fits-Strong-Fast Delivery
We needed this as we could not find anyone that carries it locally including auto & plumbing suppliers. The projected arrival date was into the next week. We ordered it and it arrived 2 days later. Fantastic.Unfortunately the oil galley plugs on our Dakota has a 5/16 square drive pipe plug. As mentioned hard to find a socket for. We had tried to grind down a 3/8 square to 5/16 and while it fit it broke off when we used a breaker bar on it. This part fit perfectly and was strong enough to allow us to use a breaker bar and tap it to hear that clink when it broke loose. It worked on all 3 plugs with no issues.

Perfect for inspecting 7.3 Powerstroke rods!
As an owner of a 2001 Ford F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, I was extremely curious as to whether my truck was equipped with the sturdier forged rods found in the OBS trucks and the 1999/2000s, or if I had the more brittle powdered metal rods used on the 2002/2003 trucks. Now they say you should be able to tell which ones you have based on your engines serial #, but enough sources have proven this method as being less than 100 percent reliable/accurate, so all that was left was for me to take a look with my own two peepers.Which brought me to the inspection port..Upon first glance at the square shaped opening, I was sure that in my many a'toolboxes and jars that I would have some type of attachment or socket wrench or material that I would be able to wedge in there and make do..But I was wrong. Way wrong! It didn't matter how much loosening spray or how hard I hammered an item into the opening or how tightly I squeezed on pliers trying to hold said item, it wouldn't budge!Which brought me to this bad boy! Let me tell you, the ease of which I was able to open port using this tool was flat out embarrassing after all the effort I had put into everything else. It was a piece of cake! Wish I had just done it right from the start!(For the record, I had forged rods. Score!)

Worked. Just wish it was a little bit longer.
Worked the oil galley plugs in my Pontiac 400. I couldn't reach one (not the hidden plug) though due to the square bit being too short.Wish it was longer.
