Very easy to use home test. Whilst you can't be 100% certain that there are no problems if you get a negative result, it does allow you to get immediate confirmation as to whether there is blood in the stool.Easy to use, just have to watch how you use it, but that would be the case of anything that has to be used in this manner. If you read the whole of the instructions first, you will have a good idea as to where you are going - wipe, close off the wiping area, drip a couple of drops of fluid, and KEEP YOUR EYES ON IT for a couple of minutes. Do not walk away and come back a while later as the results may find and leave you thinking you have a negative result when you are actually positive. Follow the instructions and it will work perfectly. You don't need a very large sample for this to work.I tested to make sure a positive would have shown up by pricking my finger and dripping a droplet of blood onto a tissue and then using the testing fluid - you shouldn't rely on a negative test result, without ensuring your test is effective!

My ulcer was bleeding heavily & needed this set to confirm that I was actually bleeding. Did the guiac test & yep. So I could treat & stop the bleeding. So if you have suspicions & are looking for answers this is a great testing medium. Delivered promptly also.

I bought this to test my infant son's stool at home instead of having to drive back and forth to the pediatrician. He had developed trace blood in his stool while breastfeeding so we switched to formula. I wanted to know if his gut had healed and this little test proved to me that it had! Super easy to do. I just waited for a poopy diaper and then followed the instructions.

Not as easy as the ones you just toss in the toilet, but once you understand the directions it’s not bad. Better accuracy, which is most important and you can do it in the privacy of your own home. Easy to do at more frequent intervals since colonoscopies are now only recommended every 10 years.

I had visited my doctor because of concern I had seen blood in my stool. His office test was negative, but he admitted, that it was only one sample. As a physician myself, I thought it prudent to be able to do more random sampling to determine whether it was or was not blood.The test worked as hoped and confirmed that indeed, from time to time, I tested positive.

Quick and easy to use. Got them for my son to check his stool, as they do in doctors office, I saw them using almost same strips. He has milk protein allergy which resulted in blood and mucus in his stool, not always visible. Thanks God new formula seems to work, no more blood, no more cry at night, happy baby!)

Convenient and fast, likely accurate. Not sure it is less messy than the standard type though. Never a rewarding process!
