At first glance this item is very oily. Mix it up and refrigerate it and it will firm up nicely. I chose the nut butter because I had heard it was good to help lower cholesterol. At first taste it is not what one might expect but, trust me, you will be back for bite after bite! For something without any sugar...it's delish!

Has way more oil than is found naturally in Brazil nuts. Consistency was like trying to mash, pulverize, and mix a bar of soap into a cup of oil. I tried about every utensil in the kitchen. 30 mins later and disgusted about the price vs the product, I gave up on mixing. I tried it for flavor. You can taste the nuts, but the oil gives it an off-taste. Not sure what it would be good for other than staining your shirt with oil and making a mess trying to mix it.

It tastes exactly like Brazil nuts, there is nothing else added to it. It was a little runny at first but in the fridge it got the right consistency. I think it’s delicious. A teaspoon in my oatmeal is enough. I am very pleased with the product.

I'm not quite sure here, but when I bought this I was thinking along the lines of something with a similar texture like you get with peanut butter, right? Well, it's not. There is some part inside the jar that is semi solid and I've been continuously for about 45 minutes shaking the jar to see if the mass inside mixes up with the liquid to MAYBE create some form of a "butter." Nope. This definitely doesn't resemble any kind of butter I've ever experienced except for when I melt butter in my microwave.I purchased this with the idea in mind to give a slight supplement in my cat's food as well as enjoy eating some to spread on a piece of toast.I've not decided yet to open the jar, which means I can't return it. I'm curious to know how it tastes?Did I get a old product or is this supposed to be a LIQUID product?

I have read and also heard that Brazil nuts are an excellent natural nutrient for your thyroid. I tried a jar of organic Dastony Brazil Nut Butter because I cannot eat whole, chopped, or minced nuts. This product is stone ground and ultra smooth. AND the only ingredient is organic Brazil nuts, nothing else! It tastes a lot like almond butter. When you open a jar you’ll notice that the natural oil has separated from the ground nuts. After stirring thoroughly the nut butter is runny. If you refrigerate the jar (although it’s not required to do so after opening) the nut butter spreads easily on a slice of bread or toast. I have already ordered three more jars (one jar lasts 8 days if you use the serving size of 2 tablespoons a day).

This item is unable to be returned or exchanged and it is frustrating because the item leaked in the box and had dents to the lid. I ordered several but butters and this was the only one damaged and I am unable to find a way to replace the damaged item and feel unsafe serving this item to my child (the reason for purchase) because I cannot determine if the item is still safe to co same with the dents to the lid and leaking. The item is incredibly liquid which is unlike the other nut betters I ordered…I wouldn’t think twice about this except again the lid is damaged and the oil leaked out all over the box.

Must be stirred. Worth it!
