ProcarePremium Panel Elastic Binder - 9" 3-panel - X-Large

I have a hernia where I had a surgical incision under my right side ribs. I'm not interested in another surgery, which just puts you at risk for another hernia down the road, but I don't like feeling like my insides are bulging out either! My doc suggested an elastic brace like this several yrs ago, and I have used this brand ever since. Recent changes to the Velcro strip it attaches with have fixed my main issue with them, which was the scratchy top or bottom touching skin if you didn't adjust it just right. My newer ones don't do that at all. When washing them, I attach the Velcro to the pad just as I would when wearing it, because if you don't it will flip over & stick HARD to itself. That fixes that issue, which another reviewer mentioned. Makes the newly laundered ones much easier to open. I wash mine in the machine on cold water, delicate cycle, & hang to dry. Occasionally I use some non-chlorine bleach to whiten them as they age and get a little less than pristine. But I wear them 24/7, changing to a fresh one daily or every other day, and I have some that are yrs old now. They keep me feeling able to pick up my dogs or my grandkids or groceries, etc, and are very comfortable to wear & sleep in. Just ordered two more.

I bought an XL based on some other people's reviews. I wear a ladies sz. 24W and will order a L the next time. I bought this for an umbilical hernia. The XL at it's tightest fits like a form fitted shirt or loose swimsuit. The XL is good for holding the ice pack in place but is not tight enough to give support.I am 5'10" tall and ordered a 9" because I could get it in 2 days but will order a 12" the next time to give wider support.I just got it and have been wearing it for about an hour. It went on easily and is comfortable. I am taking another reviewer's suggestion and wearing it over a cotton nightgown. The Velcro goes from edge to edge which is good for holding it in place but unless you can get it right exactly matching, there is a slight overhang of Velcro on the top or on the bottom.

Amazing help for mothers recovering from child birth. I had a c-section and needed help from the nurses putting this on while in the hospital and the nurses said this was so nice.It does a great job holding your organs in for those first few weeks after birth. Highly recommend this to all new moms. Bring with you to the hospital.BTW- if you get blood on it (probably will) hand wash only. I’m sure it said that somewhere, but I’m telling you too. Washing makes Velcro so tight can’t hardly get separated.Really great product though. Appreciated the help those first few weeks post partum.

My husband had major back surgery 9 years ago and still experiences some pain. He needs to wear this brace for support to help eliminate some of that pain. Most days, as soon as he gets up he puts it on. He says it is just the added support his back needs. And with it being so wide, it gives the support to the area of his surgery.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this wrap for my weak tummy muscles. It is not bulky or too rigid like some belts can be. It is cool because it is relatively thin yet sturdy. I recommend it to anyone who has a need to gird up your tummy and waist but don't want to wear a girdle or corset type garment. It even made my back feel stronger. I am 5’5” and wear a size 18w. I ordered the 9", 3-Panel X-Large (Waist: 62" - 74"). It fits, but is almost too big, so the Large would have been the appropriate size. I have been wearing over my t-shirt for over an hour and it’s very comfortable and supportive. I suffer from diastasis recti and this is my first support purchase, so far I’m very pleased.

I bought this thinking that it would be sized smaller than it is... lets just say that even my ummm enormous girth, this belt was too big! Gave it to a friend who needed a bigger size.
