Size chart runs a little small. I measured my son and it seemed the 8 was the right size but when the pants came it fit tighter and shorter than I expected. He still liked it though. I went ahead and purchased the 10 since he loved the pants so much and they still fit him with a little room to grow. My son does not like shorts and we live in Florida and swim all the time, these pants are great!!

Fits small, size up! We used these at the beach to protect from jelly fish stings and UV rays. Worked great but they fit super tight like yoga pants. I would size up for sure and keep in mind that boys may not like these as they are tight in the crotch.

Bought these at the beginning of Msrch for cold ocean temps. My son said they were comfy and they kept him protected from sun, sand and cold. They will be great for early season swim team practice.
