Love the richness of the wood and it was easy to apply. It doesn't add any bulk to the laptop, which is why we have the MacBook Air in the first place.

Love it! Gorgeous look and finish. It was pretty easy to install. It took a few tries to get the edge lined up perfectly before peeling back all of the adhesive, but it came out really nicely. The one thing I would change is that I wish the top cover piece had the apple logo cutout, but it still looks great. Obviously, since this is a very thin slice of wood, it will not give much protection against major mishaps such as dropping your computer. But it will definitely protect against dings and scratches.

First off, there are duplicate listings of this product on Amazon. Wasn't sure where to leave this review. I bought this through Amazon's warehouse deals for about $60, as opposed to $99 on the Toast website. Applying the skin isn't too difficult, but you need to have a steady hand and a good eye to make sure it's fitted properly. Since it's essentially wood veneer, there is no chance of re-applying once you've stuck it on. It will crack if you do.I've applied numerous 3M sticker covers on my electronics in the past and would consider myself to be extremely detailed and careful when doing so. Before removing the backing, I checked to see if the pieces would fit properly. I could tell right away that the holes were slightly off. Sure enough, after carefully applying, the edges and holes don't line up. Maybe the pieces shrunk, but with die-cut pieces like this, the slightest few millimeters can mess things up. The only thing that's working well is the top cover. The strips that go around have cracked on the corners and I'm just barely able to use my peripherals because the holes that have been cut, do not line up with the actual Macbook.The base piece is what bugs me the most. The pre-cut holes for the rubber feet to come through are definitely not in the correct position. Even if I shifted things over any direction, it still would not fit simply because they weren't cut in the correct location in the first place. Now my laptop slides around, with no grip because the toast cover has covered up the rubber feet. Tried to take it off and it's been nothing but a nightmare.I'm mildly annoyed that I payed 59 for this but if i payed $99, I'd be really upset to have paid that much for whats essentially wood sticker that just sort of fits my computer.

Love the this case! It was easy to put on and looks so classy. The wood finish doesn't look cheap at all. It's smooth and rich in color. It makes my Mac look great. I'm debating on getting the wooden keys or not. Love it!!

awesome. only one i could find with both top and bottom. excellent quality. easy to install. great product. only thing that would be cooler would be an optional apple logo cutout.
