Just got it today.
The battery compartment is a little tricky to open at first I have to do it with two hands but now i think I got the hang of it. I have to buy a micro sd card to see how the pictures are going to turn out. I bought this to take to the beach with me. Overall it seems like it's going to be a good camera to take hiking with me and on boats.

DOA - Didn't work and had to return
Ordered this camera for a snorkel trip in hope of capturing some nice underwater pics. Unfortunately, when we received the camera, it didn't work. It would turn on and allow us to set it up (format SD card, set date, etc), but as soon as we tried to take a photo, the screen would either turn all white or turn to a strange "snow" on the screen much like a TV that isn't receiving signal. We replaced the batteries with a better brand and tried again, but with the same results. We had to return the camera for a refund and it is only because the return went so smoothly that we're giving 2 stars.

takes really nice pictures for the price
takes really nice pictures for the price.........does not suck batteries quite as much as some of the reviews indicate.....make sure you use brand new batteries

Worked great underwater, but the colors weren't as bright as I would've liked. All in all, a good camera.

My daughter was very excited to receive this camera for her birthday At first she was successful in taking pictures that turned out nicely, even though the batteries do drain very quickly, but after a couple of weeks it stopped working. I changed the batteries ...nothing ....looks like others here had the same issue. Very disappointing.

Four-year-old daughter is very happy with it
It's a decent camera. Very battery-intensive. Four-year-old daughter is very happy with it. The day after Christmas, the camera stopped working. The screen went black with a white line across it. After this, the camera would do nothing further. I returned the camera for a refund.

Good buy
Works great. Just used it in the florida keys for a week and had no problems. Great quality for the price
