Total Fail to seal tiny nail holes in hose and didn't bond to self
I have soaker hoses where I punched small nail holes to increase the water flow. I wanted to plug those holes and started by using ordinary electrical tape. Some of those patches failed a bit because water was squirting out the tape ends. I bought Rescue Tape thinking it would be better. I applied it to many holes in the soaker hose. It is much stronger and stretchier than electrical tape. I could see how the stretch would increase the tension when the hose was under pressure. When the hoses were completely dry, I stretched the tape as far as I could and overlapped the tape onto itself and inches further than the hole. The instructions don't have any wait time for bonding to occur but I waited 90 minutes before I turned the water on to check.Almost all of the taped areas failed. The tape on the ends was hanging off when it should have bonded to itself. I easily unwound the tape which is not supposed to happen. My ordinary electrical tape had a better success rate than Rescue Tape. I still can hardly believe it.

she turned on the waterhose and it was like a giezer shot out
Well, what can I say....I honestly shouldve invested the money into buying a new waterhose, this tape sealed nothing. Followed exactly what the directions told me. Still there was leaks and mini bubbles filled with water.,so I even wrapped it more than the instructions said. I then waited overnight thinking it needed time to seal. Went out with my mom to help her in her garden, she turned on the waterhose and it was like a giezer shot out. It leaks more than it orginally did! Added photos below to see leakage. Again next time I wont be so lazy and just invest in a good waterhose that will last.

5" PVC adapter that connects to the flex hose that carries the waste to the black tank dump valve
We have a motorhome that has 2 bathrooms. The smaller bathroom has a macerator pump for the black tank. Where the macerator pump is, there is a 1.5" PVC adapter that connects to the flex hose that carries the waste to the black tank dump valve. That PVC adapter developed a small 1" in length crack on the underside and when I went to empty that black tank and turned on the macerator pump it would leak liquid waste right under the pump which is in one of my storage bays. YUK. So to fix this, I squeezed in some thermoplastic material "NuFlex 640" into the PVC crack and then wrapped it thoroughly with this Rescue tape back & forth along the whole adapter. The next time I used the pump NO leaking. Yeah!

2 Different Hoses, 1 Result
Bottom line, this didn't work after following the directions on 3 different holes. One tear was on a thick hose from Sears, and the other was on a typical green garden hose. Really disappointing considering at the time I saw a lot of good reviews. This thing turned out to be a waste of time and money.Going forward, if I had a good hose I wanted to fix, I would try some brass couplers that use clamps.

Disappointed in this product
I bought this to fix 2 pinholes in a practically brand new garden hose. It worked ok for one of the holes, but the other spot --- not so much. The water just kept seeping through and under the tape. No matter how much I used and how tightly I fused the tape to itself, a few seconds later the water was dripping out again. Kind of a waste of money and time. I am glad it wasn't expensive.

Great option for a repair
Works great! I had a leaky solder joint in my kitchen sink drain pipe leaking a steady stream of water when washing dishes or running the dish washer. I cleaned the area best as i could, applied the tape and boom! Instead off spending hours cutting and soldering a new pipe, it took about 5 minutes to apply the tape. Make sure you keep the tape stretched a bit as you wrap it around the pipe so it adheres to itself better. It's been patched for a week so far. Will update if or when the tape fails

Leaky faucet no more
We inherited a home w an old hose somehow fused to the faucet. We had to cut the hose and use a connector to make it usable. The fused end sprays if at one angle, and leaks like crazy at another - the connection to the faucet is not removable, but is really wiggly. Used the Rescue Tape as directed and it doesn't leak anymore! Not a drop. HURRAY - RESCUED!
