Installed by a 74 year old 'Grandma'!
Installed by a 74 year old 'Grandma'! This "cord hider kit" has good step by step pictorial instructions. Plan your assembly with a sketch, and prepare all sections: Measure what lengths you need and how to best use the 39" product parts. Be sure you allow space for the 'joints and corner' pieces. The product is easy to fit, just cut to the lengths needed (with a microblade saw). Lay them out on the floor, just as they'll be on your wall, to assure correct fit. As for functionality- we used this in a bathroom to hide the extension cord from a receptacle to a bidet. Loved the stick-on strip for easy and opening on the front attachment! For only about $30 looks neat and will protect the cord from water spills and mopping.

easy to cut, easy to paint, solved my visible wire problem!
I'm so pleased by the quality of this channel. Each piece came with a protective film that saved it from scratching as I cut it to size (which was easily done with a cordless jigsaw). After a light sanding, it took paint very well! The adhesive is strong and the plastic itself is thick and sturdy. I really like the D-shape of the channel: perfect to fit the cord of my pendant lamps without being too obtrusive. I'd gladly purchase this brand again for future projects.

Paintable Cord Covers
I purchased these for lights that had a cord running to the outlet. They are paintable so i painted them to be the same color as my walls. The only downside is that they were long and difficult to cut. I used a miter saw to cut them after trying to cut them with scissors (unsuccessfully). The fit 1 thick cable and were high quality. Inexpensive fix.

Fits Nicely
The media could not be loaded. Such a great product! Definitely helped cover the one regular extension cord along the crown molding nicely and neatly. I think a wire cord would fit together also. I do recommend opening up the little latch where you add the cord before attaching it to the wall. Feel like it’s easier that way.

Works for us
The half-round profile blends in with baseboards very nicely, if you happen to need them there. If you were looking at them from a distance, they could both appear as a single, original moulding. When looking through reviews, there seemed to be a mix of people saying the adhesive was either too strong or a bit weak.I considered using some known 3M adhesives to sidestep either issue. However, I had completely forgotten about this until I had already started installing them. The units I received definitely had very strong adhesives, to the extent that they will certainly remove paint should they need to be removed. In our case, they are being run along the top of baseboards and this strength is far preferable anyway. This is in an area where there is a lot of movement and anything not strong would be worse long-term and there is no intention to move them around. Worse case scenario, touch-ups are not hard to do. However, if one may not be entirely sure about placement; it would be advisable to use a known, non-damaging adhesive temporarily or permanently. So far, I’ve not made use of the connector bits. Instead of using the straight couplers, I just left small gaps for future access. I only had one corner in the installation, but did not want to bend the coax cable enough to use the 90° coupler. The looks in these spots were not of concern anyway.I can see how these pieces would be cause for frustration if you are planning to need them, though. They fit loose and feel like they would easily come off. Was not a concern for us though.I’d buy again if needed.

Works great! House looks clean and more organized
Easy to put on! Just a reminder, the connection parts are better to put on before you tape all the tubes. Also, it is really easy to cut, because I use my kitchen knife lol

Wasted potential
Does the job, with some limitations:There is printing on the inside of the tracks with manufacture information, 4/5 of it is advertising the manufacturer, the remainder looks like a date. No safety information like material or temperature rating which could be useful. Waste of ink and, unfortunately, they took no effort to ensure the printing did not go all the way to the edge . Three of the four rods had printing right to the edge and my particular installation had a few eye-level installs and looks really bad. The useless printing would be better served on the removable film from the front or the tape on the back. The tape itself seems ok but it's very thick and this prevents a true wall-flush install and kind of accentuates a shadow behind it. I did use the tape but if I were to do it again I'd probably just try to dissolve the tape off and staple the covers directly to the wall through the soft plastic.Last complaint are the corner covers. It's very very thin cheap material and very finicky to attach and remove from the rails. They do an ok job but I don't think they'd survive an accidental boot or runaway rolling chair. Considering these covers are serviceable by opening, I'm a little dubious at how much servicing I'll be able to do before these corner covers fail. Some of the edges also had some flashing that I had to remove as if it were a model kit, and since the kit itself is kind of stingy with the number of these corner covers I found it fairly annoying. It's a bit of a shame because having a cord cover that can be installed without disconnecting any cabling, and cables changed after install, is pretty killer. These were quite a bit more expensive than the alternatives and I don't feel that extra cost really went into the product care and quality.
