The description does not include the size of the pockets. From the looks of the picture they pockets look larger than they really are. I kayak fish and though all the extra pockets would be great. However I have found that the 5 smaller pockets are the prefect size for carrying disposable lighters and packs of gun, other than that I think they are useless. So if you have 5 disposable lighters or 5 packs of gum you absolutely have to carry with you, this vest will be perfect.
