It even gets the little ones
Great for daily use on tender headed elementary school kids that love to bring critters home with them from school and the bus.

Does not work for nits!! Did anyone who reviewed this even use it on LICE???
This comb does not grab nits!! After reading the reviews l bought it to take care of the little friends my stepdaughter brought home. I already used a nit comb from a delousing shampoo we purchased and thought the Medi comb would be easier to use and catch any stragglers better than that cheap comb. Wrong! The nits just slipped right through. This may be a good comb for detection, but a nit remover it is not. Upon reading the reviews after impulse ordering when I saw four and a half stars it seems that everyone who reviewed this item bought it to have "just in case" or bought it at a discount in exchange for their opinion on the item. Did anyone who reviewed this item actually use it for lice before touting what a great job it did??

Great comb and essential tool for all parents!
After reaching a parenting milestone.... lice... I was distraught. At the time I found this comb I had been fighting the fight for several weeks. I am not inclined to use harsh chemicals on my child's head if I can avoid doing so. Therefore, I have been combing through his hair regularly. Until this gem arrived I was using a regular comb. While worked to an extent it was more effort. I was trying to comb with one hand and grab nits using a tweezer in the other hand. This comb eliminates the need for multiple tools. I have found that it really does deliver in promising to help easily slide out nits. This makes it far quicker for me. Additionally, it is more tolerable to my child than having me pull at their hair in an uncoordinated manner with sharp tweezers. The magnifying glass is a nice addition and great in theory. I have not found it to as helpful as I anticipated. It is too small to really give you intense magnification. But, for those questionable bits of dandruff ect. it is nice to have something so easy to access. But, I still tend to pull out anything suspicious regardless of examination under the magnifying glass. All of this is to say that I recommend this for all parents. I would go so far as to say that parents should keep one in their home even if they have not had a lice incident. I certainly wish that I had this tool already in the cupboard when this all started. The stores in my area are hit and miss for this type of product. One last note, it is very easy to sterilize. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

lice comb
When you purchase a typical lice care kit, you will notice that the comb provided is not that great at doing the job of pulling out lice and eggs. Even though I hate to say it, the kids are infecting each other with lice. We used hair clips and bed bug sprays and they all worked but we wanted a better comb to effectively strip out the lice and eggs for good. The Medi Manager Lice Comb is top notch and ultra-fine so it can efficiently help our lice treatment. On one side of the comb is a built-in magnifier that can magnifying up to 5x. This is great as you can use it to see nits, lice, and eggs. One thing you should keep in mind is that even though you are using this comb to rid lice, you should also continue with your lice treatments. To use the comb, take a small section of hair and place the teeth as close to the scalp as possible and pull out. Continue doing this process for the entire head of hair. Continue basic hygiene and add in a few extra steps for lice control and soon the problem should diminish. The only thing I didn't like was the length of the bristles. They are a kind of short and only about 0.5 inch long. I received this product at a discount for an honest and unbiased review.

but my kids have fine hair. However
I have been dealing with lice on my school kids for the past month. I finally got a metal comb rather than the plastic combs included in treatment kits. I didn't notice that the comb was actually pulling out nits, I still had to do that by hand, but my kids have fine hair. However, this comb was much more gentle on them to seperate the hair and their hair was no longer being pulled out like with the plastic combs. I like the magnifying glass to see what I had pulled out, but it got wet a lot so I had to keep drying it off to use it. Overall, much better than the plastic combs. Also, with it being metal I can sterilize it and save for future use, but truly hoping I will never need it again. Note: This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Perfect lice comb to keep on hand for an outbreak!
Who hasn't had to battle with lice? If you have a child in elementary school, you probably have! I purchased this comb at a discount for review. Although we aren't battling lice right now, I wanted a good comb to keep on hand. I've found the best treatments are natural products and combing regularly until all the little blood suckers are gone. This come is very fine tooth. It doesn't tangle, and it is sturdy so it comes right through wet hair without snagging or breaking like cheaper combs do. It is fine enough to pick up very small particles so I have no doubt it will come out the little bugs. The magnifying glass on the side will be a plus for the kids because they can see what annoying head lice look like up close. If you have a kid in grade school, I recommend keeping a good lice comb on hand, and this one is perfect!
