Smart Furniture 10 x 36 Inch So Simple Floating Wall Shelf in Black

I mounted it by installing 2 screws into a wall stud on the left side of the bracket, used an anchor/screw for the center hole (no wall stud, only dry wall), and used 4 anchors/4screws on the right side of the bracket (no wall stud, only dry wall). I tested if it would manage a decent amount of weight w/ a 1 gallon of water (8 lbs) and it held up for 3 days. I don't put a lot of weight on it I only use it to hold my ps4 hori fight stick which only weighs 4 lbs. Shelf looks nice and clean and for what i'm using it for it will do the job. I also used a 1/4 drill bit to drill the holes for the anchors and it seemed like the best size. If I had to do it over again I would have bought better anchors for peace of mind that the shelf would hold a decent amount of weight.

Arrived very well packaged and protected and installed easily. I used a stud so didn't have issues with provided fasteners. It's pretty easy to use a beefier screw and wall anchor to get benefits of this floating shelf. The shelf itself is sturdy.

I read the reviews that said the hardware that comes with the shelf is poor, but figured I'd be ok because what I intended to put on the shelf was very light. I was wrong. The mollies couldn't even hold the bracket snug to the wall, let alone support the shelf (with or without anything on it). The shelf itself does the job, but you'll need to buy new hardware. Get new mollies. You'll also need to replace the thin screws that go vertically through the shelf into the bracket posts. The ones it comes with are absolutely impossible to use. If you can get them to turn at all, which is unlikely, they'll bend in the process.

Easy to install, looks great in my very small bathroom. Clean lines. Arrived quickly & packed nicely, so no dings or damage.

I have several floating shelves in my home and this is the only one that doesn't sit flat. It falls down to the front which looks horrible. Look for another one to purchase.

Great product. Strongly suggest using stronger drywall anchors such as the Toggler 50125 package offered by Amazon.com.

This shelf is quite easy to install, and it looks very nice on my living room wall.
