You’ll never order escargot in a restaurant again
I found this item after reading an article in the May 31 edition of Wine Spectator. These are wild ethically harvested Gros Gris (Big Grey) snails and they are HUGE. These are packed pre-cooked in a delicious chicken stock (court bullion) with a carrot and a bay leaf on the bottom that can be reused in other recipes. The snails are surprisingly tender and have a very subtle & mild earthy flavor and tooth-feel. One of the best tasting I’ve tried anywhere, quite frankly.I was able to fit one snail in each of the mushrooms I bought. As you can see, the shallot & cilantro compound butter stuffed mushrooms are large with only 6 being able to fit in my air fryer. I froze the other 18 snails with butter in the freezer for another time.Highly recommended.

Fantastic
What a wonderful flavor. I enjoyed the flavor, the texture and the cleanliness of the product. This was my very first time experiencing anything like this and I am so excited I did. I would highly recommend buying them to everyone.

These make excellent Escargots, which I would put up against any restaurant's offering.
I've been an escargot afficionado for decades, but I all I could find locally these days were lower-quality snails. When you eat them, they are rubbery, an off-putting texture.I decided to look on-line for better quality snails, and learned about this brand. The fact it was available through Amazon made it really easy to buy. The snails came in like clockwork and I served them this past weekend with my world famous (in my mind) butter sauce.Of course, anyone who enjoys escargots knows about the great sauce in which they are served. But the real connoisseurs will also discern the taste and texture of the snail, if their palate is refined enough. There is a faint woodsy taste and absolutely no rubbery texture with these snails.Highly recommended, and don't even try asking for my recipe; you would share it with the finest restaurants and they would copy it and claim it as their own, eschewing any credit to me.

Best canned escargot I've found in the U.S.
Plump, flavorful snails with very little grit. If you've given up on canned snails in the U.S., tried these before you throw in the towel.
