18ft Edge + 4 Corners + Tape, Premium, Extra Dense Safety Cushion (Brown) Sale

I used this for irregular oblong glass coffee table that is about 1/4 or 1/3 inch thick. It took a bit of time to measure and adhere the double sided tape. Overnight, the foam kind of shrunk a bit and I see gaps between the cut edges of the foam that I meticulous measured the night before. The foam is thick, but it comes off easily. My cruising 15 month old accidentally ripped off the foam while trying to grab the table for support and ended up banging his chin on the table. I am going to keep it since I used ripped open the bag and cut up the foam pieces, but I will reinforce the edges with clear heavy duty shipping table to ensure adhersion

The foam was nice and soft and has definitely protected my daughter from bashing her head on the table a few times. But the reason I give it 3 stars is that the double sided tape seems to lose all holding power within 3 weeks. I've had to replace all of the tape 2x now (and went and bought better 2 sided tape to hopefully prevent that).Pro:- Good cushioned foam- Comes with everything needed for installation- Easy to cut to sizeCon:- The tape that they provide is not strong enough and loses the ability to hold within weeks.

The cushion is VERY thick and spongy, and will definitely prevent injury should someone fall on a corner or edge protected by this product.Installation is pretty easy. You cut the length you need and stick it where you want it to go. I don't see the adhesive damaging wood or finished surfaces because it's not strong enough. However, you may have trouble with the adhesive sticking to very smooth surfaces like mirrors or glass, especially if you live in a humid area. My recommendation would be to rub the surface down with alcohol before applying the cushion, to remove oils and dirt which would impede adhesion.The problem is that this product is useless for toddlers. My 8 month old girl crawled over to our bookcase, pulled the cushion off with the greatest of ease, and started hitting the cat with it. The cat ran away (she's OK), and then the baby lifted the cushion above her head and gave a victory scream. Over the next few days the same drama played out. Babies are surprisingly fast and strong for their size, and I think ANYONE'S baby will be able to pull the cushion off within seconds. And then, of course, into the mouth it goes.The packaging says this is #5 plastic, polypropylene, which is one of the safer plastics, and is used for things like yogurt cups and baby bottles. The Chinese manufacturer probably adds a foaming agent and air to give the plastic its very soft, foamy feel. The good news is that this plastic is resistant to heat and moisture (and therefore mildew, too). It's considered non-toxic, but I still wouldn't want my baby sucking on it: I have no clue how safe the foaming agent or the provided double-sided tape are. Besides, I'm sure sucking on plastic can't be good, even if the plastic is considered safe. It's simply not good ju-ju.I thought of nailing the cushion into place, but I had a vision of my daughter hitting her head on the nail, or the nail coming out. Besides, the tensile stress of the nail would cause the foamed plastic prone to tearing, making small edible bits and larger choking hazard bits of plastic for baby. No bueno! Duct tape would actually work, I think. Adults have a hard time pulling duct tape off. But then your furniture has duct tape on it, and that would very likely ruin a finish (besides being ugly).I'll tell you what I honestly think.For toddlers this product is completely useless. They will tear it off within seconds. Guaranteed. Anyone who says differently either doesn't have a baby or else they received a "complimentary product" for an "honest" review.For kids the product may be useful. It's certainly protective, and I don't see most 8 year old boys having enough interest in a piece of cushion to rip it off (although with kids you never know).For adults who are prone to falling (e.g. an aging parent or someone with cerebal palsy) or if you keep stubbing your toe on the same darn corner every night, then this product could be very useful.The reason why I give this product 1 star is because it's marketed specifically for child safety, so most people who buy this product will be buying it to protect their babies, and this product is NOT effective for babies. For adults or kids who won't be picking at it, this product may be 4 or even 5 stars with the provisio that it's intended for a single point of contact -- it saves you from a fall. Or a bump. Don't expect to cover something that you contact many times, like a stair or step -- the adhesive is not strong enough for that usage.

I bought this item to soften the corners and edges near my fireplace. It feels quite dense so I'm pretty sure it will protect from bumps against the brick corners. It stuck very snugly and the color matched the stone surface really well (there are several colors to choose from). The cushion was quite long so I may use the leftover cushion elsewhere. It was easy enough to follow the instructions and cut with scissors. I did notice that it stretches so I had to be careful not to pull on it when measuring before cutting.TLDR: high quality. generous quantity.

Would work really well if they stuck to surfaces better. The product comes with a 3M double sided sticky tape, but I've had some trouble getting it to stick properly. I placed the bumpers on the sides of my wood dresser, the next morning one had fallen off. My son also pulled on of the corner bumpers right off the dresser too. If you just pull a little it comes right off, so if you have a curious baby it might not last long. However, if you can get the product to stick and stay properly then it is a life saver.

This is the perfect edge protector. I used it on the fireplace. If was on a table it would be even more amazing just because it would have a stronger surface to stick to being that brink is a little less adhesive.... But it still works great!) Even tho it just covers the corners, I feel like its enough protection and provides a huge sense of safety and security :). Great product to have

The quality is not very great..my toddler can pull the edges corner easily . ..also when i opened the packet it gave me impression that it is being used..not clean..i ordered it in black color..though after wiping it is ok to use..but my daughter already pulled two edges corner...not very adhesive :(

Bought this to make sure our toddler wont hurt himself. But it took hardly any time for him to pull it off the wall corner. So although there is not much wrong with the product, its just not as useful for the purpose of protecting the kid.
