S9703A (5-Pack) Stainless Steel Heat Plate Replacement for Kenmore 141.16324

These heat plates are solidly constructed, and fit our Kenmore grill just fine. I put multiple, thin coats of black stove spray paint on the bottom, to help with heat absorption. Should have done the top as well, as the shiny metal was covered with crud within a few uses anyway. Only time will tell for longevity, but I'm happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a replacement set of flavorizer plates for our old grill. The original manufacturer's price for the set made us seriously consider buying another grill. Fortuitously I found this product which is a very similar item. The only difference I observed was that our original flavorizer plates ran a little higher above the flame. Other than that and the material being stainless, they seemed identical. We've used them several times and they are holding up well. As another reviewer mentioned, the flavorizers do sit loose but the original ones we had did also. So, I don't see this as an issue unless you are transporting the BBQ regularly. This is a great quality product. Only issue is it seems to fit really loose.

These are not made properly and sit too low in the grill, and do not come close to OEM. Too bad, I like the Stainless Metal. Being returned!
