Very helpful for Pizza
Got this for baking and it's great for stretching dough into a pie pan. I used both rollers and got a perfect thin crust pizza.

Just the right size
Had one similar, but this is just the right size. Better than a large rolling pin for our needs.

Easy rolling pin.
Perfect size for children to be able to roll out cookie dough.

So glad I purchased
I'm so glad I purchased the Norpro Wood Pastry/Pizza Roller.I mainly got it to use making my awesome cinnamon mini bites. Which I use Grands size Buttermilk biscuits for the dough. I roll out each biscuit getting 3 minis out of one. Sure beats the big ol' granny rolling pin.So easy to clean, just wipe down with a damp cloth. Sure sometimes things get messy which I use a drop of Nellie's mild One Soap on a damp cloth and rinse with clean damp cloth.Doesn't tend to get too bad because of the naturally nonstick due to the wood used to make it.And these past turkey days I used it making pot pies instead of dragging out the ol' big one. Oh my, made things so much easier. Think I might donate my granny rolling pin, lol. You're using one hand/arm to roll your dough instead of working out both arms and hands, which that can sometimes be a real workout.I'm glad I finally got a small roller and I'm so glad I got this Pastry/Pizza Roller. There's no fatigue with the Norpro Roller because it's so easy to maneuve & not sticking to everything. And it's a good quality item which is going to last a lifetime. So quit wasting your time with your big ol' granny rolling pin and get yourself a Norpro. The only down fall is you can't drape your dough onto this little roller like your big one. But I just roll my dough on a cutting mat and move my pastry any where I need it. Still not taking up the space of my granny rolling pin.

Works well
I was a little apprehensive about the smaller size when ordering this, but it works well and the size is great. Dough does not stick to it and it washes easily. I wish I had made the switch from a regular rolling pin to this tool a long time ago. Homemade pizza dough is very easy to roll out now!

Great idea, poor execution
Maybe, for the price, but should have been more attentive. I did not look at the images carefully enough, and naively presumed these tools essentially equivalent, so the add-on seemed a good deal. Had I a redo, I would spend a bit more and get the LastenĀ® Maple Wooden Pastry and Pizza Roller, of similar design or the single roller version, or a similar product with a decent handle. As clearly visible, the handle is much smaller than the rollers, and it is less comfortable than it should be. I concede it is my fault for not paying enough attention. The finish on the rollers is rough, and the ends appear to have been simply sawed to length and left with sharp, rough edges, so, in addition to being substandard design, it will require thorough sanding. At least sanding and a bit of mineral oil will make it usable, if not comfortable. All that said, after several months of use, I find it useful, especially for rolling dough into a more uniform rectangle or circle, but, then, another issue. The wire frame on the large roller began to rotate in the handle, rendering it difficult to control. When pulled out, I found a small dab of adhesive on the chrome plated wires. It did, however, last a bit past the return period.Fortunately, I did salvaged 2 kitchen tools, a very short rolling pin, and a small roller with handle, but who knows how long it will stay together.
