V2 Mounting Kit for Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 in Traxxas RC's by Snappy RC Made of durable plastic. Compatible with little to no modification: Traxxas 2wd Stampede (with VXL ESC tray), Traxxas 2wd Slash, Traxxas 4x4 Slash, Traxxas Slash 4x4 LCG Chassis, Traxxas Rally, Traxxas Rustler (with VXL ESC tray), Traxxas Bandit (with VXL ESC tray), Losi SCTE. Instructions: Pull the o-ring straps over the mount and into the slots. Place the ESC and mount on the vehicle and insert the screws. Do not over tighten the screws, they just need to be snug. Installed screws before the ESC, they will be underneath the ESC. Place the ESC into the mounting plate while pull the o-ring straps over the wires. Place the o-ring straps through the cooling fins that correspond with the mount slots. Kit includes: Mount plate made of durable plastic with recessed pocket for holding the ESC in place. the ESC fits perfect, and the V2 fits the truck as expected
After I installed the V2 I ran my truck once, and one of the hold down bands was snapped. the ESC fits perfect, and the V2 fits the truck as expected. A couple small zip ties and I was off bashing again. All in all...very happy with the shipping time, and overall value of the V2. thanks.

Waste of money really
Works ok. Buy the RPM mount plate instead, much more secure and give you a spot for the power switch.
