My bedroom closet has an upper rod that's only reachable by a tall person, which I am definitely not. Until I bought this long reach stretch pole, I only used that rod to hang out of season clothing. This long reach stick pole essentially doubled my closet space because it easily hooks onto hangers on the top rod, allowing me to lift clothing onto the pole and remove clothing in the same way--no ladder required. Now both rods are easily accessible. Its slim profile makes it very easy to use. It's extendable to the height needed and easily collapsed back, so it stores easily. The only downside is that the extension doesn't really lock, so it sometimes collapses back when I'm trying to put something away, but that's a very minor flaw.

This works great for reaching tall shelves, and racks. It is lightweight, but very sturdy.

Needed this for a high window. Was intuitive and I was able to shut the blinds to avoid feeling uncomfortable with the blinds on my window being open.

Not sturdy at all. I purchased this item to reach my bird feeders and hanging plants.* It took me longer to retrieve and replace the items with this device than it would have taken me to get my ladder or step stool to reach the items.* The pole was very wobbly when using it for anything weighing more that a pound or two.* The thick prongs make it difficult to place my intended items on their hooks.This may be good for other tasks but what I had hoped for. I almost want to return it but it’s not worth the hassle.

Tool to raise and lower shades that aren’t easily reached cuz of window height. Reason for purchase. It’s sturdy to use. You can extend the rod to your length as needed. The hooked end is fairly wide to allow for a wider bottom edge on blind to lift or lower. Its priced right.

The media could not be loaded. It’s “lightweight for sure!” Material is cheap! The stick is too light. Preferably used for very light items. I was hanging blouses, jeans and stick started to curve, then it couldn’t take anymore abuse. * Don’t try to hang multiple items that weigh, the stick can’t handle the weight and will start to bend at middle joint and break like this one. This item is for someone who has time to sit around and hang “1” item at a time and nothing too heavy! It also has too much nonsense at tip of stick that gets stuck to other hangers/clothes while trying to manage getting clothes out or in. All in all, it’s just not STURDY enough! Sorry to have wasted a few dollars and time thinking this was a great deal and stick. I guess you get what you pay for. No PUN Intended. Ha! Excuse the bad video. * I would recommend one of those department store rods that are durable and is only one piece.
