The Ultimate cost effective, flexible UL hiking solution
I now have one of the green , one of the blue and two of the silver bags. I carry a silver one as a blanket along with with the blue or green depending on the temperature forecast. If you look at comparable bags below 30F, you will see they are 2+ lbs. So for 2+ lbs you have a three configuration capability to take it down to near 0F with the Blue/Silver combo, or below 20F with the Green/Silver combo. Plus I can use the silver as a blanket alone, or the bag alone in each case. Note how the down ridges run opposite so when you combine them, heat loss is minimal, loft is extreme! I added Nikwax downproof to all bags, I pack them in my pack directly inside my trash compactor bag for waterproof, less wear and compressibility damage. With this setup I have a UL or LW approach depending on the trip, plus a wide range of temperature or sleep capabilities for the best cost. It is the ultimate hiking cost effective solution. The compression sacks fit my UL tent and other items, good compression sacks cost $30!Apply Nikwax in warm water in a 5 gal bucket. dry it on low heat with a couple Tennis balls, apply this to any untreated down stuff you have.I hike the Southeast AT, the Southwest Sierra and Rockies, this covers me and my wife in pretty much any 3 season condition in these areas, and I would argue it works in winter too, depending on the tent/tarp setup. I use UL/LW Tents so I have good ground and rain/snow/wind coverage. My daughter did freezing winter AT (Virginia) last week and she was the only warm person in her group withe the blue/silver combo.

Perfect Hostel/Camino and Summer type bag!
I took this bag with me on the Camino de Santiago from April 22-June 1 and very pleased. Overnight outdoor temps ranged from 30s-50s. Most hostels were kept around constant 65 indoors It packed down to nothing in my pack, and was the perfect weight for sleeping INDOORS at hostals/albergues. There was only 1 night I actually felt cold on the entire trail (high in the Pyrenees). Keep in mind I was not in a tent, I was INDOORS at hostals/albergues.With that being said, I don't believe it would be anywhere near a 35 degree bag sleeping outdoors in a tent, regardless of what type of pad you used under it or base layers you were wearing. I would say it would be a perfect summer type bag that would easily keep you warm when summer camping/hiking. Or a perfect anytime of year bag if your using indoors (RV, Hostels, Slumber parties in the living room, etc).I plan on using this as my summer camping/backpacking sleeping bag and for future Camino style hikes.

Saved my cousin from hypothermia
I bought this sleeping bag over a month ago. As other reviewer stated, it smelled, but luckily all I had to do was air it to get rid of the smell. I went for a short backpacking trip with a friend and a cousin to Lake Kissimmee State Park. My friend and I had sleeping bags and I also brought my Therm-A-Rest Z Lite Sol, but my cousin is new to the hobby and only brought (wait for it) a blanket.Long story short, the temperature dropped to 40 at night. I woke up at midnight and heard my cousin wheezing and struggling to breathe. I was fine in my bag, just a bit cold, but nothing serious. In contrast, she was shivering, could barely speak, and was slow to respond. I soon realized that if my cousin spent the rest of the night like that, she would probably develop hypothermia, so I told her to get on my sleeping pad, opened my bag (Yay for zippers! Yay for quilts!) and got us both into it. Of course, this bag won't close with two people in it, so I just wrapped us in her blanket. We were nice and toasty for the rest of the night. If you'll be sleeping in cold temps, this bag won't be enough unless you have a sleeping pad with a high R rating and are well clothed. It won't perform well on early Spring and late Fall. However, if you're looking for a cheap, ultralight three-season sleeping bag for under 100, it can't get any better than this.Just one word of caution, though: it's really annoying to get into its stuff sack. Be prepared to take a few extra minutes every morning trying to get this thing to fit. Go search "Best Budget Down Sleeping Bag for Ultralight Backpacking: Aegismax Review" on Youtube just to see how annoying it is.

Excellent buy. Very pleased.
This is a great bag at a great price point ($73). I needed a lighter, highly compressible bag for backpacking in temperatures that I typically encounter but couldn't spend a lot. Also, as a hammock camper I use this unzipped as a top quilt. Since it's not a mummy bag it works perfectly for that. Most people report this bag being comfortable in the 30s-40s range. I have found 40F to be the lower limit for me. On my scale this weighs exactly 16 oz. in the stuff sack. Also, I followed the lead of one YouTube reviewer: She said the first nights she took it out she was warm in the 40s but cold at 36. She later washed it in Nikwax Down Wash which gave it more loft. Then next time out got to 32 and she said she was "toasty." I agree the loft was excellent after washing with Nikwax and drying on low heat with tennis balls. I did that as soon as I got it and recommend it. I also plan on using the Nikwax Down Proof to help prevent the down from absorbing too much humidity, which reduces the performance. TIP: Periodically hold the bag up to the light; you'll find the down will shift around and will need to shake it back to where you want it. *Also important!* Check the length of the bag. This one is 180cm, 70". It's not a mummy bag so it only needs to reach your neck. I'm 5'10" and this one is perfect but feels like I'm right at the max. If you are taller I'd recommend the 200cm, 6'6" bag: AEGISMAX Outdoor Urltra-Light Goose Down Sleeping Bag Three-Season Down Sleeping Bag Mummy Down Sleeping Bag Green L200cmW86cm This is a great, inexpensive, lightweight, packable bag that I'd recommend to anyone camping down to 30-40 degrees. Highly recommended.

Great summer bag
Used the bag on the weekend in Nova Scotia, we had cold mornings at about 10 C, I was warm and comfortable, love it and will be getting another for my wife. It’s light and packed down small for the rucksack. The only issue is that it feels flimsy so I felt I had to handle it with care, as I was trying not to break it. This is to be expected as it is a very lightweight bag, note it didn’t break and handled the trip well.

Warm thru the night
I bought this for the compact-ability... and small volume it takes up in my pack. Also the weight is nothing... camped out in August in fairly decent overnight mountain weather and was more than warm! Maybe dropped to 15 Celsius at night the first night, then maybe 10 Celsius the second night. Both nights were more than warm and comfortable throughout the night into the cold of the morning. I'll have to try it in the fall, but maybe with fleece liner. Love the difference in weight to my normal mummy bag rated for -7 celsius.. and a third the weight! However the closer I get to cold fall nights... or even winter nights in Alberta, I'd opt for the heavier bag to cope throughout the night. However summer... the AEGISMAX killed it for average temps and sleepability... if that's a word...The package is about the size of my jetboil... but far less heavy.

Great backpack bag
This is a wonderful backpack bag. It's super small, packs well, and seems very well put together.I wouldn't put a great deal of stock in the 11 degree C/52 F comfort rating, even on a very high r-rating sleeping pad. On an R4+ pad, with both base layer and down on, in single digits Celsius, this bag was uncomfortably cold. I've since added a liner, and suspect that is going to make a large difference. other than the temp rating, though, I am very happy with the bag. Came with the compression sack and the off-season sack for storage, and came much faster than expected. As long as the temps you'll be in work, you'll be happy with the bag.Note: this bag is nylon inside and outside, so it might come as a shock to you if you're expecting the nylon outer/cloth inner layout. Doesn't affect performance, but might be something to consider as far as what you sleep in.

Why pay more?
Really good bang for the buck. Mine is the larger and it’s quite long. Extremely lite weight, soft and flexible means it moves with you very well. Very comfortable and surprisingly warm. Used it last week on a canoe trip and the nights were approx 8c (could see my breath!)and I was cosy with a long sleeve T-shirt long johns and socks.

Warm and light
Very warm and light. Great for the price! So far we've used it at 4 degrees Celsius (with just regular PJs on) and it's kept us warm... But only just. Definitely anything colder than this would be too much for it. Hard to tell how warm you'll feel, but I find I get chilly at night when camping (especially when it's damp out). I think it's safe to say that it'll keep most people warm inside a tent when it's 10 degrees Celsius out.

Good value, good quality, great size
Good product for weather > 6 degrees, fantastic packability (you might struggle to fit it in the bag, but in my experience having a basic fold and then stuffing it in the stuff sack works).Would not use for weather < 0 degrees even though it says extreme rating -6 ; comfortable at 6 degrees if you've got a few layers on, else you will feel cold.

good sleeping bag
great light weight summer sleeping bag. i have used this for the last year. In summer it is the only sleeping bag that i need, in fall and sping it is not warm enough for me on its own, but i use it as a linner bag still.

Light and compact
Comfortable, light and compact. Perfect for backpacking when temperature won't dip below 10 or 15 celsius. Wish it was a tiny bit roomier though.

Lightweight
Very lightweight. I suggest having a liner or extra blanket on hand for colder nights.
