Worked great, plenty of room to get leads through
This was my third shot at getting pass through connections working with some extremely burly cat6 my buddy gave me. While I couldn't get it working, these were the closest to getting leads through and once I changed brands I was able to set these up no problem! Would highly recommend using these, enjoyed that they came with stress relief leads as well.

This is a review of the Platinum 202016J EX-RJ45 Cat 6 Connector and Strain Relief Combo Kit 50 Pieces.Crimper Used – While I am sure the oem crimper designed for these would be ideal, I used a typical set of RJ45 crimpers. My endings are rock solid and super tight. My cables have been hooked up to pc and router affirming 1gb/s connection.Summary – I have used numerous Ethernet connections in the past and these pass through type are making me wish I found them years ago. Instead of using the connectors in which it is hard to see if your cables stayed in the proper order during the crimp, these are pass through design and allow the cables to go straight through the end. This gives you 100% verification as to the proper order.Note – You can cut the extra wire over hang flush by using a set of clippers. (Clippers should be a type to allow for a very close cut so the wires do not overhang.) An alternative would be to Cut the cables passing through the connector flush with the end of the connector, then pull back the wires just enough so they do not clear the end of the adapter - are exposed and then do you your hard crimp. To prepare wires so they go right through the connector on the first time is very simple. Just strip back the jacket of your wire 1” to 2”, use a screwdriver shaft to pull the wires over to straighten and then use your thumb to “pull-press down” on the cables to get your final smoothness-order. Then use a wire cutter to cut the end flat to allow for easy entry into the connector. The strain reliefs to me are also perfect. The last ones I had were too tight for my cat6 cables. These fit all the various types of cables I would be using these for. They feel as though they are made of a hard plastic, yet the relief section of the clip still remains flexible when you move it.Fully assembled, it looks and performs great.

Stick With The Original and the Best
I have been using this brand of pass-thru connector for many years and I have never had any problems with them. Platinum Tool is not the cheapest connector out there, but every single crimp connector you put on is a potential warranty service call. I don't scrimp on cheap stuff. I buy quality parts, and that is the best long term form of economy. When ordering, pay attention, because there are a lot of imitators out there.

Best DIY RJ45 Cat6 solution possible
I've made many patch cables in my day...the Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 is by far the best RJ45 cable platform out there. Their product SHOULD be the standard. Make sure you buy the Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 crimper as it will cut all the wires that pass through the front of the connector. It's well worth it even though it runs over $50.The main advantage of the pass-through in the front of the RJ45 plug is that the cable jacket gets well inside the plug, unlike standard cables where the cable jacket and twisted pair wires do not get very far in. This reduces the possibility of the cable being subjected to interference as well as poor connectivity. Additionally, you can clearly see that your wires are in the correct order once you push them through the front of the plug. With standard RJ45 plugs, you have to look through plastic to see if they're inserted properly, and that can be rather difficult and time-consuming.If you're new to RJ45 patch cabling - you want to strip about 1" of jacket off when using EZ-RJ45 connectors. This gives you enough wire to push through the front of the plug. Untwist the twisted pair cables, pinch the wires so they're as straight as possible (you can squeeze the wires with your fingers or use needle-nosed pliers) and line them up in the following order from LEFT to right... 1. orange-white 2. orange 3. green-white 4. blue 5. blue-white 6. green 7. brown-white 8. brown...this is simply the standard used for wiring RJ45 ethernet cables. Use scissors to cut the ends of the wires so they're all completely even (makes install much easier). Then turn the plug tab-side down and insert the 8 cables into the channels, and crimp using the EZ-RJ45 crimp tool. If you're planning on making a crossover patch cable, ensure that you look up the proper wire color coding.

Good connectors but small strain relief opening
Good quality and easy to use. However, the hole in the strain relief is muuuuch too small for the CAT6e cable I'm using. Have to cut off most of the strain relief to get the cable to fit.

Time saver and they just work
When the question of value for the money comes up, I would counter ask "How much is your time worth?" With the proper crimpers, I can hammer out proper connections in a fraction of the time of using load bars with other connections let alone dealing with the frustration of normal style connectors. This package is nice because it is in a smaller sized, plastic tub. You can throw this around and still be ok, plus you have the connectors and strain reliefs in one.BE CAREFUL with these products. Make sure you get the Platinum Tools actual stuff like this . I ordered some connectors in a bag of 100 once and they were actually a copy. Amazon is allowing people to label them as Platinum Tools but they are not. I ordered these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005SHG5FO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1and every time I crimped my actual Platinum Tools strain reliefs on, you couldn't crimp them down far enough for the hooks to set and they pulled right out. I have never seen Platinum Tools package their stuff in more than quantity of 50 pieces.

Less time wasted!
What's not to like? the feed through makes terminations fast and allows you to pre-inspect to avoid pair mismatches before crimping. So far I have not had to re-do any terminations. Great time and frustration saver.
