Just what we were looking for
The colors are bright and vibrant. The carpet is soft and seems easy to clean so far. Definitely a perfect purchase for the room we used it for.

The Bumps
I love the look of the rug, the quality is decent. But why is it so hard to roll a rug at the factory without putting bumps into it? There are two across the width that seem permanent after a couple months of not easing out. Disappointed.

It looks like the picture
I am familiar with the Safaviah brand because I have a large wool one in my living room. It's much heavier than the Moroccan rugs I bought. I wanted lightweight, synthetic rugs for my dining room, hallway, and foyer. Also, I realize my Moroccan rugs were machine made in Turkey. I'm getting ready to travel to Morocco and weighed the pros and cons of buying handmade and having them shipped vs buying here in the U S. I can always buy a small one in Morocco. I like the colors in the rugs I bought. I move a lot so now I'm starting to buy more lightweight things. These were a good purchase for me. The dining room rug does curl up on the edges like others have noticed. I just press the corners inward and that helps for awhile. It doesn't bother me. It's lightweight which may be why the corners won't stay down. I think there are rug tapes that can be bought for that.

Quality has been reduced
I bought this carpet in 2020, and was very surprised by the quality for the price. Unfortunately, buying it again in 2024 does not deliver the same product. The carpet is much thinner and more like a mat than a carpet. Very disappointed in the updated cheap version.
