What a beautiful basketball. This thing is perfection. I’ve tried nearly every high-end basketball on the market and Molten for one understands that at a high level of play, the best basketball is not the softest one. I think this one hits the sweet spot at which the ball can optimize players’ abilities because ball control is at a maximum and every aspect seems to be where it should be. It’s not necessarily that a softer ball is better, that a harder ball is better, nor that a stickier ball is better. When you go too far in any of these directions the ball then becomes a limiting factor. There is an ideal combination of these to optimize play at a high level and this ball does the best job yet of all the ones I’ve used.I can confirm from my shipping label that this ball indeed ships directly from Molten USA in Reno, Nevada. I was very pleased to see it as Prime eligible. Making their balls Prime eligible is a brilliant move by Molten and I hope they do this for all of their models!

It feels different than your average basketball, this is top of the line quality. You have to put in some work and rough it up but man, this ball is wonderful. It’s been months and the air pressure is still the same as when I bought it. If you’re a true hooper, get this ball, it doesn’t get any better.

Every new leather ball feel bad brand new it takes time to break in real leather balls so of course the ball is not gonna feel like the evolution or another ball that's not real leather. I own all types of basketballs and yes the choice in the rec centers or community gyms are gonna be composite or Mico fiber because it gives off a broken in feeling straight out the box. And yes no one will want to play with a real leather ball because they are to groomed to play with the the other types of basketballs. But you gotta ask yourself why are the pros not complaining about the real basketballs they play with and if you remember they tried to go to composite and the pros called it trash and they quickly switched back to real leather. I can pay with any type, I have no issues with either leather or composite but I will say that leather to me is untouchable when it comes to high level competition and micro fiber or composite is for lower level to rec level play. What I'd say is just shoot around with a leather ball get use to it get it sweaty break it in and then make a opinion after u get use to the feel of it and I can tell you it will be way better than composite in the outcome. Also do the same for composite get it sweaty and wet and all slippery and see how that feels and remember leather is hard composite is soft there's a difference. Also the texture of leather will get smooth once it starts breaking in I have a picture where you can kinda see the texture of the ball it's still not any where near broken in yet. The picture is after two weeks of me just shooting and dribbling it for 2 days and for 2hr both days. So a total of 4 days and 4hr all together and I get the ball sweaty and wet in the process to also help break in it. Power dribbles help to. I absolutely love this ball no cap. I'm definitely gonna buy another.

This is a genuine authentic leather basketball made for indoor use only. I have made the mistake of ordering fake Molten basketballs on Amazon, but this one is the real deal. Luckily I was able to return the fake ones and get a full refund. If you want an authentic ball, I would recommend using this seller.

I hardly leave any reviews but just out of the box this ball feels really nice. It feels almost like a microfiber ball. Its a little softer to the touch than the Wilson Official NBA Ball. I hope it real leather! It smells like leather. I’ll update in its durability but I’m impressed so far.
