This book is great! I'm an architecture student and love that this book has detail drawings. Highly recommend this book since it's hard to find books with drawings and backgrounds information.

Not the level of detail I expected. The CAD plans did not load to any particular scale (for Autocad) nor were there dimensions indicated so I could scale it myself. Mostly this is a coffe table picture book.

Not for outdoor
I bought Plyboo for my back yard deck and it was just matter of time to starting seeing how it deteriorates. I posted some pictures at [...] so everyone can learn from my real life experience.

Ottimo libro per spunti
Un ottimo libro da avere in una libreria di un professionista che si occupi di interni. Ottimi gli esempi e i dettagli. Lo consiglio.

outdated and boring
outdated and boring. low quality images. same stories, very similar disigns between stories. no interiors with real class. no real details and measurments how a restarant should be designed

About Time.
I purchased this book on a whim as I have been very impressed with Drew Plunkett's previous books and with Laurence King Publishing, so much so that I recommend them to the students I teach. What this book does well (along with Plunkett's other books) is have a generous balance of supporting imagery, terminology that is understandable and construction details giving an insight into how some of these incredible interiors were made. Construction is nearly as subjective and varied as design itself, with so many ways of supporting and constructing a form, so to get a glimpse of these designs and how they were built is worth the price in itself.Albeit, I do think there could be a few more details thrown in there, but you have to remember that these are the intellectual property of the designers/architects and the sheer fact this book has any is a miracle in itself. If you want more detail and more general explanation then seriously get your hands on: Construction and Detailing for Interior Design (Portfolio Skills) The disc with the CAD files on is a bonus and again it is perfect for students to explore the detailing in more 'detail'as inspiration for their own construction drawings.Overall a wonderful read, a treat for the eyes and highly recommended for students and professionals alike!
