My son has stuggled with acne for years. We have tried countless lotions and potions but got no where. Charcoal soap was reccommended to me by a colleague of mine so we thought at that price why not give it a go. So it arrived and I was not expecting it to make much of a difference. My son washed his face and neck with it that night and went to bed. By the next morning the skin inbetween the spots was already less red and inflamed. Within 3 days he had visably fewer spots and his skin looked a lot healthier. He has been using it now for 3 months morning and night and it has made a huge difference to his skin. He won`t use any other product from now on. I highly reccomend it.

This soap used to be black, now its more of a dark grey, the price has rocketed, yet it seems that perhaps its far less concentrated with the charcoal powder, i don't think i will be getting this anymore if this is how its going to be from now on.

I wish I had taken before and after photos! Used twice a day for 3 days and within that time all my hormonal acne has gone, scars have been visibly reduced and skin is brighter than ever. It smells nice and should last ages too as a little seems to go along way! Ever so slightly drying but easily rectified by applying a pea size amount of Aqueous cream after.. cleans skin without causing further breakouts and leaves skin soft and smooth.. gentle enough for everyday use, great value for money!

Creamy and does the job

Bought this for my face even though I don't have particularly oily skin but I workout almost every day and I thought this would help with the removing grime and help a little with blackheads. Honestly I haven't seen a difference in the short time I've been using it unlike some reviews I've read.It definitely leaves a squeakly clean feeling which means it is probably a little stripping but I'm not too bothered since I have normal skin and a gazillion moisturisers. Not great enough to become a go to face cleanser but the smell is nice at least and not overpowering. I haven't experienced any irritation and have started using it on my body as well as to use it up quicker so I can try something else.
