Rajlinen Leopard Print Duvet Covers Twin Size Egyptian Cotton 650-Thread-Count Soft Duvet Cover Set 3 Pieces with Zipper Closure, 1 Duvet Cover and 2 Pillow Cases

I kept, regardless....must be washed immediately to remove smell. May reorder and modify washing/drying/ironing (see below.) This is a hard to find size, super sized king duvet in cotton at a good price. I ordered the taupe in jacquard stripe, which is a beautiful caramel brown though the stripe gives it a multi-hued effect, so goes with taupe and less gray browns too. The duvet and pillow case arrive with a very very strong SMELL, which comes out after repeated washing. Both duvet and cases SHRINK significantly after drying!!!!!Rajlinen has excellent customer service and offered to refund and return, but I decided to keep these, as came all of the way from India, I assume. (Also ordered a bed skirt, but recvd. sheet set instead, also stunk. Rajlinen quickly replaced sheet set with correct bedskirt. Unfortunately the bedskirt stunk too, but smell removed with one washing.) I think the smell is from a sizing used to make the fabric smooth/crisp and have a sheen. I recommend ironing which enhances the jacquard stripes and restores part of the sheen. Duvet is well made of light weight jacquard strip cotton with reinforced seams and a white zipper. I recommended to rajlinen that they preshrink this fabric., Also recommended to rajlinen that they add button loops or ties to keep the comforter in place. I kept duvet though it is 6-8" smaller length and width wise after drying on low, so much smaller than duvet. I used the shrunk pillow cases on smaller pillows. In this smaller duvet, the comforter appears smaller and bulkier, but use on a queen bed. I might order again and avoid shrinkage by washing on cold and not drying in the dyer, but tumble on air to loosen, lightly stretch before hanging, then iron while still damp to show off jacquard stripes and restore some crispness. (I wonder if special ordered from rajlinen, if they would pre-shrink before making so that size would be right after washing and drying at reasonable temperatures for cotton bedding.)

Love it. We bought this to cover our Blue Ridge Hungarian White Goose Down comforter. When I was young, everything was made from natural materials like this duvet. Materials have "evolved" into microfibers and synthetics. This cover is a time machine for me, taking me back to simpler days. It is not cold to the touch like all of the synthetics. It is not overly warm to the touch like flannel sheets. It has the feeling of pure luxury. I'm happy every time I touch it. It turns your comforter into a teddy bear you want to hug. Threadcount Schmedcount. Don't be sucked in by claims of higher threadcount. I can't imagine a better material.Some other points. This comes straight from IN (India), not In (Indiana). Be patient. They'll get them to you. Its worth the wait. Also, I got the striped set which looks wonderful but doesn't allow me to rotate the comforter sideways for more overhang. Our comforter is a "super king" , size 98x108. It's more than long enough to turn it sideways but it doesn't look right with the stripes going sideways. The zipper is full length for easy loading. BTW, I read a story on the internet the other day that the oceans are filling with microscopic micro-fibers that are breaking off peoples clothes when they wash them and finding their way into the oceans. Made of synthetic material, they will never breakdown. Yet another reason to consider this duvet made of cotton. Do it for the dolphins :)I will update this review after summer in southeast Michigan

This is a really nice set. The actual color leans toward being a bit darker in the dark stripe and the light color stripe is as it appears in the photo ( due to the lighting in the photo), which is perfectly fine with me as that is what I wanted - a true charcoal. The curtains I ordered on Amazon to go with this set turned out to be lighter than in the photo so they match the lighter stripe in this duvet set, therefore it all worked out okay. Seller was courteous and notified me when my order was being shipped, was shipped from India and could have taken much longer but shipping was fast and arrived much sooner than I actually expected. Material seems to be of good quality, nice sheen to the cotton but they have not been washed yet so I cannot report on appearance post-wash, and the workmanship seems to be of equal quality. I opted for the zipper version, although I believe there is a button version for those who prefer that. The pillowcases are queen size pillow cases as opposed to shams, very nice in appearance and detail in their own right, non-issue for me but just wanted to mention it for those who may prefer shams ( as I have read in other reviews ).

So far so good. Had a difficult time finding oversized (108"X98") duvet cover. This seemed good especially for the price. Very soft, I like the zipper at the bottom. It could use corner ties for comforter to stay put. It also had a small bluish stain but I can live with it. In reality it is 2 large flat sheets sewn together with zipper & 2 pillow cases. For the price, it seems good. If you want something more tailored for your decor, this is not for you. Curious to see how it washes but I'm sure it will be fine. Will likely buy another color since it is the perfect size for our comforter.

I was looking for a duvet cover for my king size lightweight down alternative comforter and my criteria were that it had to be the right size (you'd be surprised at how many different king sizes there can be!), it had to be a good quality cotton that was breathable, and I wanted a zipper closure (not the difficult and unattractive buttons that many covers have). The set that I got here fit the bill exactly, and when there was a slight mix-up in what I received, their customer service was exemplary and corrected the situation by sending me a new one right away. I would highly recommend this duvet cover set.

This is a nice duvet cover, and I like the zipper. The only thing I didn't notice when I bought it is that it has no string ties on the inside to secure it to the duvet??? Any duvet cover should have at least 4, and most have 6-8 ties so the duvet doesn't bunch up inside the cover. This baffled me?
